Alpha Challenge P

I've just made this challenge with hours to spare!  This time our letter on The Craft Barn's Alpha Challenge was P.  I've made an ATC which I painted with Distress Stain.  It changed the surface of the card but as I am short of time I went with it, so now it looks textured!

D for Daffodils

The new challenge on the Alphabet Challenge Blog is D for Daffodils.  I have made an art journal page for my DT work, using a Stampotique stamp I've had for ages and not used for a long time!  It came out more orange on the scan than it actually is though!

Ruby's Rainbow Challenge #50 - Easter

Easter is the new challenge for the next two weeks on Ruby's Rainbow Challenges.  As I don't really need to make any Easter cards I decided to do a journal page for my DT work.  I used some card I had painted ages ago from my scrap box as the background and some Tim Holtz stickers I've had for a while, plus an assortment of stamps from my vast collection!

Sparkles Monthly Challenge #42 - Birds

It was my turn to choose the theme on Sparkles Monthly Challenges, and this time I chose Birds.  For my DT work I have made 2 Smash* book pages featuring our birds we have in our garden aviaries.  I hadn't Smash*ed for a while and thoroughly enjoyed it!

This month we are sponsored by Lili Of The Valley with a lovely £10 prize to be won, so pop on over and take part!

C for Coveted

Roxx has chosen the next theme on the Alphabet Challenge Blog, which is C for Coveted, we have to use something we covet from our stash!   I made a LO using some lovely BG Scarletts Letters papers I have had for absolutely ages and have now used!

This time on the Alpha Challenge, our letter is M but it has to be between Ma and Me!  I chose M for Machine and used my cute little sewing machine stamp for this.

Ruby's Rainbow Challenge #49 - Spring Colours of Yellow & Green + DT Call

It was my turn to choose the theme for the new challenge on Ruby's Rainbow Challenges, and I chose Spring Colours of Yellow and Green as I love Spring and can't wait for it to arrive!  And I think those two colours look so fresh together.  For my DT work I made a card using an old favourite, my little Sugar Nellie stamp Maggie, that I've had for ages and she comes out every now and then!

We are also looking for 2 new members for our Design Team, so if you would like to join us please pop over to the blog to see what you need to do to apply.

Art Journal Calendar - March

I've just completed my March pages for my art journal calendar.  I really must try and be ahead of the game and finish them before the month starts! I enjoyed doing this one in bright spring colours.  I cut the flowers on my Cricut, a punch I was going to use turned out to be broken and I had never used it, but had it so long I can't really send it back now!

The Cupboard Trilogy Ch # 9 - A Mother's Love

The challenge on The Cupboard Trilogy for March is A Mother's Love.  This is one of the rare times I have used a photo of myself on a LO!  It was taken when I was a few weeks old, being held by my mum!

And this is my last post for today!

B for Bottles

The new theme on the Alphabet Challenge Blog for the next 2 weeks is B for Bottles.  I had some Crafty Bitz embellishments stashed away that I've had for years so they came in very handy for this card for my DT work!

Sparkles Christmas Challenge #26 - 3 - 2 - 1

The new theme on Sparkles Christmas Challenges is to use 3 flowers, 2 gems and 1 image.  For my DT work I wanted to make a LO using a photo I took of my granddaughter at Christmas.  I cut 3 flowers on my Cricut and layered them up, then used 2 gems and my 1 image is the photo.

We are sponsored this month by Lili of the Valley, with a fab prize of a £10 voucher so go on over and take part for a chance of winning!
