Our letter on The Craft Barn's Alpha Challenge this time is W and we have to use circles too. I've made my usual ATC by using Distress Stain for the background. The word I chose is Wheels which lots of others probably have too! I also stamped a world in the left bottom corner which hasn't come out too well but is meant to be a circle. I've also inked some circles through a stencil, and my letter W stamp is also in a circle so hopefully I am well covered!
The new challenge on Ruby's Rainbow Challenges was chosen by Debbie and is Round and Round. When I saw this photo of my daughter at the Ice Bar in London where she went with a friend I thought it would be ideal to make a LO for this challenge! The papers are from an old pad of Christmas Papers I've had for years but were just right too! I really enjoy using up old stash and rarely buy anything new these days!
For my DT card I re-used an image from an old birthday card and added some holographic heart backing to it and some heart papers I have had for years from an old Dawn Bibby kit that some of you may also have stashed away somewhere!
Our letter on The Craft Barn's fortnightly Alpha Challenge this time is R. I decided to go for Remember as my word and used a poppy stamp (to represent Remembrance Day) which I water coloured in Red so managed to fit another R in! I still managed to fit my crackle background stamp in on the edges, which I have used on each ATC so far!
Ruby's Rainbow Challenge blog is 2 years old today and to celebrate that the theme for the next 2 weeks is Happy Birthday. I made a card for a friend using one of my old much loved Hero Arts stamps that I watercoloured with Marvy Le Plumes, distressed the edges and added some peeloffs (yes I'm not afraid to admit I use them occasionally and like them!).
The new challenge on The Cupboard Trilogy challenge blog is Easter. I struggled to think of something to make for my DT work as I am on the scrapbooking team, but finally came up with some photos of a little rabbit we had a couple of years ago, so made a very simple LO using these!
I am married with 3 grown up children ,4 grandchildren and 2 dogs! I have always done crafting of some sort, originally knitting, cross stitching and tapestry, then I began paper crafting some years ago and haven't looked back!
I like to take photos of my garden for scrapbooking and the one on here is a sunflower that the birds kindly planted for me!
P.S. - Now I have gone back to doing a lot of knitting, crocheting and sewing too!
