The challenge on Papertake Weekly is to use some embossing, so I have made this card using one of my House Mouse stamps, and some backing papers, and embossed some dots with my Cuttlebug folder on the Big Shot. I punched out some flowers to co-ordinate.
The challenge on Scrummy Stash Cafe is Hey Baby! I made a LO for our MTTC challenge which is also Babies, and so have made another one for this challenge! I used photos of Georgia when she was a baby, K & Co paper, some Cuttlebug embossing, some flowers and a bit of stamping.
Here is the H page for my Techniques and Materials Journal I am working on.
It was my turn to set the challenge this week on My Time To Craft, and I chose Babies. I have made a LO using a photo of Louise when she was a few hours old. I cut a mat with my Nestabilities on my Big Shot, and usedDeja Views baby papers and some stamping, Primas and a gingham button to make this LO.
I have found another inchie challenge blog, Small World of Inchies, and this week their theme is Red. I have made my inchies by rubbing Fired Brick Distress Ink over the background, stamping some Invoke stamps and embossing them, a small background squiggly stamp, and Tim Holtz doodads. I then edged with Black Soot Distress Ink and used my gold Krylon pen on bits of the wings.
The new challenge on Sunday Stampers is Words. I haven't used this stamp for a while and I love it, and it has words on! So I inked my background with Versacolor ink for a change, and stamped her, and some random words and foliage and added a couple of primas and brads.
The theme on Gothic Arches at the moment is Garden Fairies, and I am rather keen on fairies so have made this arch using a downloaded image from Art-e-Zine, some inking and stamping, primas and brads and a couple of embellishments.
I received this lovely card, plus lots of lovely stamped images and papers from Jo (fairymadjo) for our SBS-13 swap.
The new challenge on sea-gals skinnys is Jokers and/orJesters. I interpreted this as a clown and made my skinny using 7 Gypsies backing paper, a free download image from Art-e-Zine, some background stamping, Antique Linen Distress Ink and some charms and words.
I had a few birthdays to catch up with before the end of April, so here is one of the cards I made! I used Peeled Paint Distress Ink on the background, spritzed with water, then used Gold Glimmer Mist. I stamped randomly on the background with some clear Tapestry stamps. I stamped the main image (Wild Meadow) on a separate piece of card and edged it with Gold Krylon, stamped the greeting and did the same.
The new theme on Make a Moo or Two this week is Girls. I have used some downloaded images from Art-e-Zine on some Crafty Individuals and K & Co backing papers. I stamped some words and backgrounds, and finished with some ric rac and brads, rubbing over and edging the moos with Aged Mahogany Distress Ink.
I have found a challenge blog for pets, A True Friend, so have made this LO for the current challenge, which is Food and Treats. I used DCWV cardstock, some K & Co paper and some alphabet stickers, stamps and embellishments to make this LO of Sarah giving our girls their Christmas treats!!
I said I wouldn't get into Gothic Arches as I have enough to do, but gave in when I saw that Linda had found a green challenge, and I wanted to have a go at something different!
The challenge blog is Created By Hand challenge, and this week it is Go Green. I used Peeled Paint Distress Ink and Gold Glimmer Mist for my background, and my new Lost Coast Design stamp and some other stamps and embellishments. I think I will be making a few more of these now!!

The challenge this week on Papertake Weekly, is Katharinas Sketch #2. I have made another LO of Louise for my album, using DCWV papers (I think!), one of which I embossed with a Cuttlebug folder.
The challenge on Arty Girlz this week is to create your own background. I have inked my card with Weathered Wood Distress Ink and spritzed it with water, then swiped a silver dabber across it. I have then stamped randomly over it. Then I stamped the sentiment and main image again onto a piece of card and rubbed them over with Weathered Wood too and edged with silver Krylon.
The theme on Sunday Stampers this week is Faces, so I have made my tag using Weathered Wood Distress Ink for the background and some silver dabber, then I have stamped an assortment of stamps here and there, and edged the tag with silver Krylon.
There is a new challenge blog for Inchies, InchybyInch, and the challenge is to make an inchie with a word on. Here is mine - I used a scrap of Crafty Individuals paper and a small image by them, and a Tim Holtz Doodad, some Aged Mahogany Distress Ink and a small stamped image.

For the There's No Place Like Home project I am doing, I have made a LO about our Front Room. We have to work through all the rooms in our house so at least I have made a start!
Caroline on Sea-Gals Skinnys has set the next challenge as Time. I used K & Co paper, a K & Co Life's Journey embellishment, a downloaded image from Art-e-Zine and some Tim Holtz doodads, together with some Vintage Photo Distress Ink to make this one.
The theme on Make a Moo or Two this week is Vintage - and as that is how I tend to make mine anyway I was well away!! I have used Crafty Individuals and K & Co papers, some free downloaded images from Art-e-Zine, and added a couple of words with my Dymo and some Primas.

These are 2 LOs for the There's No Place Like Home online class I am doing. The prompt for this was about somewhere local that holds special memories etc. Forty Hall is a few minutes away from us. I used to take the children there lots of times when they were younger where we would meet friends and have picnics etc, and nowadays, I can get there by car with OH on the occasional day that I feel well enough to go out!
The challenge on Papertake Weekly is All That Glitters. I need to make a card for someone so I used my little cute Funky Fairy and Stickled her hair and dress and Sakura Glitter Gel penned the other bits! Then I matted it on to some pink glitter paper, and punched out some flowers and Stickled the centres and then drew stitches round the edge with a Galaxy Marker pen.

The challenge on Scrummy Stash Cafe blog this week is a sketch one, so I have made a LO of Louise using Basic Grey Two Scoops papers and various stamps and a strip of felt flowers - not sure who by as a friend sent them to me!
The theme for this week's Sunday Stampers is Family, using stamps with family-type words or images, so I have made this tag using Vintage Photo Distress Ink for the background, spritzed with water and then Gold Glimmer Mist. I then stamped the word Family from a foam stamp set, and a Crafty Individuals image for the main one.
Caroline has set up a new Skinny challenge blog, called Sea-gals' Skinnys, as the Skinny Saturday ones have ended, and the new theme is Things with Wings. I have made my skinny using some 7 Gypsies and K & Co papers, a downloaded image from Art-e-Zine and some embellishments including Tim Holtz doodads.

The new challenge on My Time To Craft is Framed. I have stamped a frame onto my card with Plum Archival Ink and watercoloured it in with a co-ordinating Marvy Le Plume pen, then embossed some bits with gold embossing powder. I stamped the lady image in the same way and again watercoloured and embossed bits on her head!
I bought this little stamp to use for my There's No Place Like Home project but thought it would also be ideal for this New Home atc I made for someone who has just moved!! I stamped it with a tree stamp on either side and water coloured it in with Marvey Le Plumes!
The next LO for the project There's No Place Like Home I am working on.
The theme on Make a Moo or Two this week is Women. I used some Crafty Individuals images, K & Co paper, Vintage Photo Distress Ink, a couple of stamps and some flowery brads for these ones.
The challenge on Arty Girlz this week is Black and White, and as I have a few birthdays coming along soon I made a card for this one. I used DCWV paper, embossed some dots with my Cuttlebug embossing folder, stamped an image in black and matted her onto the card, and finished with some black ric rac and a white Prima and black brad!!
I have been meaning to get round to having a go at doing a canvas, and Andrea kindly bought me a blank one for my birthday so I decided to get on and have a go! I have used my favourite greens, Peeled Paint and Shabby Shutters Distress Inks, and the stamping is done with Versafine Olympia Green and Adirondack Lettuce. I have sprayed Gold Glimmer Mist and daubed a bit of Gold TH dabber here and there too, then generally used embellishments all around the edges! The centre of the large flower is also a pressie, from Linda E! I am quite pleased with my first attempt! If you click on it for a larger image the sparkly bits show up!!
I have just made this card this morning for my son's birthday and noticed it fitted in nicely with the current challenge on Funky Fairys which is to make a card for Boys/Men! It is made in exactly the same way as the tag a few posts further down so I won't explain it all again!!
This week's challenge on My Time To Craft is In Stitches. I made this LO of Georgia when she was a baby, using Rob and Bob papers, 2 different stitch stamps to divide up the page, and I sewed the buttons on to the flower embellishments!
Here is my Forfeit Fairy -I 'won' the stamp in Pass the Parcel at my party kindly organised by Linda E! Helen, Andrea, Tina and Dan also won some and have been busily creating with theirs!! I quite enjoyed making my little stamp into an atc actually and think she turned out rather well - not sure if that was the idea!!

I am taking part in another online class by Shimelle, and this one is all about our homes, hometown, and various aspects of all of that! I am way behind, but here are my first 2 LOs about defining what we call home. I have blanked out my street name on the photo for obvious reasons!!
