Ruby's Rainbow Challenge #38 - Trees

The new theme on Ruby's Rainbow Challenges for the next two weeks,  set by me this time, is Trees.  For my DT work I have made another page for my calendar using a photo I took of the sunrise from the front of our house.

September

As I have blogged most of my calendar pages - mainly doing them as DT work - this is my September page which I didn't manage to incorporate for any DT's!

Alphabet Challenge - Q for Queen

The new challenge on Alphabet Challenge Blog was chosen by Mari, and is Q for Queen (Jewels fit for a Queen).  For my DT work I decided to make another journal page using a lovely Queen's Dresser Drawers stamp I found in my stash that I forgot I had!  I used sprays and inks for the background and paper pieced some of the parts of the stamp.

I am also entering this for:~
Creative Craft Challenges - Anything Goes
Try It On Tuesday - Anything Goes
Willow Sketchie Challenge - Paper Piecing/and or sketch (I didn't use the sketch)

Sparkles Monthly Challenge #36 - Away With The Fairies

The new theme for Sparkles Monthly Challenge this time is Away With The Fairies, and we are sponsored by Di's Digis with a lovely $10 voucher for the lucky winner!

For my DT work I made a journal page using some Dovecraft fairy stamps heat embossed, and the background is gessoed and Distress Stained!

Ruby's Rainbow Challenge #37 - Bingo

For this challenge on Ruby's Rainbow Challenges, Shaz has chosen to do a Bingo theme - pick a line going in any direction from the grid and use the items named.  For my DT work I made a card using the Lace, Flowers and Buttons diagonal line.  The image is one of my old favourite Hero Arts stamps, and I used a MS lace punch for the lace.

P for Pocket

The new challenge on the Alphabet Challenge Blog for the next two week's is P for Pocket.  For my DT work I made another journal page incorporating a pocket with a tag.  I had great fun getting quite inky and messy with this one, using Dylusions ink sprays and stencil, Distress Inks and various stamps etc.

The Cupboard Trilogy Ch#3 - Tic Tac Toe

My last post for today!  The new challenge on The Cupboard Trilogy for the month is Tic Tac Toe.  Choose a line from the grid going in any direction and use those 3 elements on your work.  I went for Bright Colours, Ribbons and Flowers for my DT work and used some beautiful K & Co Mira paper that I have hoarded for a long time!  You can make cards, LO's or digi LOs for this challenge so go on over and have a go!

I can't get the Tic Tac Toe grid to copy at present, so please visit the challenge blog to see it!!

Sparkles Christmas Challenges #20 - Sparkle and Bling

Another new challenge on Sparkles Christmas Challenges, and this month the theme is Sparkle and Bling.  I have rather a lot of Chrismas cards in my box, so I decided to do a DLO in my Smash* Book of Christmas and have added some bling and also glitter glued around a couple of the photos which doesn't show up too well but it's there!

We are sponsored this month by Joanna Sheen with a fab £10 prize and Di's Digis with a $10 prize, so go on over and make a start on those Christmas cards!

The Happy Scrappers Ch#5 - Buttons and Bows

Time for a new challenge for the month of September on The Happy Scrappers, and this time the theme is Buttons and Bows.  For my DT work I have made a LO of one of our dogs, Bella, after she has had a bath!  Please pop over and take part this month, we didn't get many entries for our last challenge but hopefully now the children will be back at school there will be more scrapping time!
