Ruby's Rainbow Challenge #31 - Black, White And One Other Colour

The new challenge on Ruby's Rainbow is Black, White and One Other Colour.  For my DT work I made a card and I cut the mat on my Cricut and stamped the edges and the central image with some Heidi Grace stamps I have had for ages and never used!  I used a pink Promarker for my One Other Colour and added Dazzling Diamonds for a bit of sparkle.

J for Journey

The new challenge for the next 2 weeks on Alphabet Challenge Blog is J for Journey.  For my DT work I made a page for my art journal using some Personal Impressions stamps I've had for ages, Dylusions sprays and Distress Inks.

Sparkles Monthly Challenge #33 - Summer Fun

For my DT work I made a LO of my daughter when she was a baby and her first time on the beach!

This is a LO I made for a challenge, of my granddaughter hiding in the garden amongst the flowers, thinking we couldn't see her!

Flying High

The Cupboard Trilogy currently have a challenge running entitled 'The Wind Beneath My Wings' and we have to take inspiration from the words of the Bette Middler song for our work.  My hubby went up in a glider a couple of years ago and I thought that would be an ideal theme for this challenge as he certainly had the wind beneath his wings!  The photos were a little difficult to scrap as they don't have much colour in them and I take my inspiration for my LOs from the colours in my photos so I did my best with this one!  I wasn't going to put flowers on but my Liquid Applique smudged so I had to resort to covering it up!

Ruby's Rainbow Challenge #30 - Tags

The new theme on Ruby's Rainbow Challenges is Tags and we are to either make a tag or use a tag on our work.  For my DT work I made a page for one of my art journals using Dylusions spray inks for the background and made a tag with a stamp I bought years ago and never got round to using!

The Happy Scrappers Ch#2 - The Great Outdoors

Goodness a month has passed already since the launch of The Happy Scrappers, and we are really pleased with the amount of entries we had for our first challenge - although there were also quite a few cards entered that had to be deleted as we are ONLY for scrapbooking!  I have chosen the theme for our second challenge, and it is The Great Outdoors.  For my DT work I made a LO of a favourite place we like to visit that we are lucky enough to have just a few minutes from where we live.  So dig out those photos and have a go at scrapbooking, it is great to look back over albums in years to come and relive those memories!

I for Ice Cream

The new theme on the Alphabet Challenge Blog for the next two weeks is Ice Cream.  I didn't think I had anything with ice cream on then I remembered my cute little penguin stamps so have made a fun colourful card using them!  The papers and words are by DCWV.

Sparkles Christmas Challenge #17 - Monochromatic

The new theme on Sparkles Christmas Challenges for June is Monochromatic and for my DT card I chose to use blues.  My cute little stamp is by Elzybells, sadly no longer available.  This month we have 2 lovely prizes of a £10 voucher from Joanna Sheen and a $10 voucher for Di's Digi Downloads so go on over and take part!

RRC Ch#29 - Things With Wings

This time it was my turn to choose the theme on Ruby's Rainbow Challenges and I chose Things With Wings.  For my DT work I have made a LO of our Diamond Doves in the aviary in the garden.

MTTC Ch# 180 - It Takes Two

Time for a new challenge on My Time To Craft, and this week is my last challenge with the team.  Wendy and I have been running MTTC since 2008 but we both feel that the time has come for us to step down and retire!  However the blog will keep running under new management as Shell is taking over, so I wish her and the team good luck with their new venture and I am sure it will continue to run successfully for a long time to come!
The new challenge is It Takes Two, and I have made a LO of my 2 guinea pig boys.  The papers are from my stash that I've had for years, the letters are cut on my Cricut and the swirls are my lovely new Cheery Lyn die which cuts and embosses beautifully!

H for Handmade Flowers

We are up to H on the Alphabet Challenge Blog, and the theme is H for Handmade Flowers.  For my DT work I made a LO of Bella who hurt her claw last week, and I cut some flowers using my Tim Holtz die and some very old red papers from my stash!

SFC Ch#32 - Get Well

The new theme on Sparkles Monthly Challenges is Get Well and for my DT card I used an old favourite Hero Arts stamp, coloured in with Promarkers and some Martha Stewart punches .We are sponsored by Di's Digi Designs with a fab $10 prize to be won, so go on over and take part!

I am getting into Smash* booking at the moment, and am using it as an opportunity to use up lots of odds and ends of stash (as well as buying a few new bits too lol!) and here is a double page I made about our dear dogs!

RRC Ch#28 - A Sketch

The new challenge on Ruby's Rainbow Challenges is a sketch and for my DT work I made a little card using scraps from my huge pile that I can't bear to throw away! and a cute Penny Black Hedgie Stickeroo which I find very useful!  I water coloured round it to co-ordinate with the papers.

MTTC Ch#179 - Happy Healing

Time for a new theme on My Time To Craft and for the next fortnight the challenge is Happy Healing.  For my DT work I have made a little card using an image from an old birthday card, distressed and inked the edges and simply added a ribbon and peel off greeting.

The Happy Scrappers Ch#1 - Anything Goes

A brand new monthly scrapbooking challenge blog starts today so pop on over to The Happy Scrappers and take part!  We all have photos we want to do something with tucked away in our cupboards, so Shaz and I decided to start up a blog as there aren't many scrapping ones around!  This is a great chance to dig them out and have a go at scrapping!

Our first challenge is Anything Goes - so nice and easy!  For my DT work I scrapped some photos I took one evening in February when it snowed quite heavily and I loved the way they came out with a glowing light so wanted to make a LO with these, unusual colour scheme for snowy pics but I think it worked!

G for Garden

The new theme on the Alphabet Challenge Blog is G for Garden, and for my DT work I have made another page for my calendar using photos I take in my garden.

Sparkles Christmas Challenge #16 - Christmas Tree

Goodness, 1st May!  Where is the year going!  Time for a new theme on Sparkles Christmas Challenge and this time it is Christmas Tree.  I am not in the mood for making cards, but I am dabbling in some art journalling so decided to make a little page for my DT work using Dylusions spray inks and some of my favourite stamps.
