The Alpha Challenge - C
I am taking part in the Alpha Challenge on The Craft Barn blog, and the second letter we have been given is C. I chose to use C for Car on my ATC and used my Tim Holtz stamps that have been tucked away for ages!

Ruby's Rainbow Challenge #46 - Valentines
Time for a new theme on Ruby's Rainbow Challenges, and this time it is Valentines, to run for the next two weeks. I don't 'do' Valentine Cards so had no need to make one, instead for my DT work I made a page for my small art journal. I had great fun getting inky with this one, there is a lot of gold glimmer mist sprayed on it but you can't really see it in the scan, and it inspired me to make the ATC on my previous post too.

The Alpha Challenge - V
I came across a new challenge on The Craft Barn's blog, originally to alter a dictionary and a different letter of the alphabet will be set every 2 weeks. This has been extended to make other things for the challenge using the set letter, so I have decided to make a series of ATCs and use my word torn from a small dictionary. I will bind them into a little book when it is completed. This time the letter is V so I have gone for V for Valentine.

Y for Yummy
The new challenge on the Alphabet Challenge Blog, chosen by Sheena, is Y for Yummy. I made a LO using a photo of my granddaughter when she was little eating her dinner!

Sparkles Monthly Challenge #40 - Die Cuts and Flowers
Time for a new theme on Sparkles Monthly Challenges, and for the next month it is Die Cuts and Flowers. I used a Cuttlebug corner die and punched some flowers for my DT card. Lousy photo because of the poor light though!
This month we are sponsored by Di's Digis with a prize of $10 to spend online.

Art Journaling Calendar
I decided to finally get round to making one of the art journaling calendars I have seen so often on my journeys around blogland inspired by Kate Crane and her blog. I have made my January pages and am quite pleased with them - I think they more or less turned out how I had in mind! It's hard to see on the photo but they are shimmery with silver mist sprayed on them and if you click on the photo it shows in more detail. All I have to do now is remember to fill in each day!

X Marks the Spot (and Stripes!)
The new theme for the next two weeks, chosen by Shaz, on the Alphabet Challenge Blog, is X Marks the Spot (and Stripes!). For my DT work I used some freebie papers and a Penny Black Stickeroo together with some punches and die cuts to make my card.
I am also entering this card for

Configuration Box
The new theme on Sparkles Christmas Challenges for the month of January is Snowmen. I decorated a Tim Holtz Configuration Box for Christmas that I have had for a couple of years in my cupboard and as I have put a snowman in there it was just right for this challenge!
We are sponsored by Di's Digis with a prize of a $10 online voucher so come on over and have start making your cards and decorations for next Christmas!
The Cupboard Trilogy Ch#7 - Lead by Example
The new theme on The Cupboard Trilogy challenges is a different one for me, it's called Lead by Example. Us DT members could use whatever theme we liked, and people taking part can choose one of the DT entries to copy for inspiration, layout, colours, theme etc. I made a LO using some lovely frosty photos I had taken and it was a good chance to use some of the Tim Holtz lacy ribbon thingy I had bought a while ago as it looks just like frosty flowers!
