We have a DT call on Craft Your Days Away, so if you are interested in applying pop over to the blog to apply.  The new challenge is Music and Dance, and this is sponsored by Little Musings. The winner will win the digital set below plus one other of their choice.

For my DT work I made a tag using K & Co paper and HOTP images, I am enjoying using old stash lately and not buying anything new, and these I have had for years!  The edges are distressed and I used Distress Inks and Crafty Individuals stamps too.

RRC Challenge #2 - Baby + Blue

It is time for the second challenge on Ruby's Rainbow Challenges, and for this fortnight the challenge is Baby + Blue.  For my DT work I have made a LO of photos of my son (who is now grown up lol and I am finally getting round to making his baby album!).  When I have loads of photos I want to use I tend to use lots on a page and do a bit of decorating around them, rather than one photo and lots of empty space!  I am not really a fashionable scrapper but I enjoy it all the same!

MTTC Challenge #138 - Perfect Pets

Perfect Pets is the new theme on My Time To Craft, and I made a LO for my DT work of my lovely dog, Poppy!  I thought she looked like she had been up to something when she looked round when I took the photo!  I used some downloaded paper for the bp, punched paper flowers and die-cut alphabets from a whole stack I bought years ago from QVC and will last me for ever I think!

For my DT work I wasn't sure what to make so grabbed the nearest stamp on my desk which happened to be one of my favourtite Penny Black stamps!  I coloured the image with Promarkers and Copics, and used some freebie bp, punched flowers and Card Candy blobs which I coloured yellow to match the flower on the image.  The greeting is also by Card Candy.

Also the current theme on the monthly Sparkles Forum Christmas Challenge blog is Ribbons and Gems, and that one is running until 1st May so still time to enter.

Also a mention for Shaz's new challenge blog Ruby's Rainbow Challenges - just a couple more days left to enter the first challenge - Anything Goes + Amber. The next challenge is on Wednesday 27th April.

Y for Yellow

We are up to Y this week on the Alphabet Challenge Blog and the theme is Y for Yellow as the main colour.  For my DT card I used some old K & Co papers and stamped Maggie and Flowers by Sugar Nellie.  She is coloured in with Copics and Promarkers, and all edges distressed.  I coloured the flowers and yellow Card Candy blobs with a Promarker to co-ordinate, I love being able to do this, so much easier than try to match things up!

MTTC Challenge #137 - Easter

Another Easter theme!  This time on the My Time To Craft challenge.  I don't really send Easter cards, so for my DT work this time I decided to make a tag using some of my Tim Holtz Idealology stickers, distress inks, a Crafty Individuals flourish stamp and some German Scraps.

Alphabet Challenge - X for Xmas

I can't believe we are almost at the end of yet another round of the alphabet on Alphabet Challenge Blog.  The new theme for this week is X for Xmas.  For my DT work I distressed the edges of some bp (poss Dovecraft, I am no use at remembering the names once I am downstairs away from my craft room!) and stamped a Penny Black image and greeting with Versafine ink.  The snowflakes are punched with a Martha Stewart punch, and jewels added to finish.

Ruby's Rainbow Challenge #1 - Anything Goes + Amber

A brand new fortnightly challenge blog has been started today by Shaz, called Ruby's Rainbow Challenges (Ruby is Shaz's little dog!) and it is a just for fun blog with no prizes, top 3's etc.  It is also a multi craft challenge so anything goes!  The first challenge is Anything Goes + Amber.  I was delighted to be asked by Shaz to join her DT and for  my first DT project I have made a LO.  I love scrapbooking but haven't done any for some months now, so to ease myself back in I have made a quick and easy LO using some lovely WRMK paper and alphabets, and photos of my gorgeous rabbit Billy!

MTTC Challenge #136 - On The Spot

The theme on My Time To Craft this week is On The Spot, to use spots or dots!  For my DT card I decided to make a fairly simple uncluttered card, as mine have been lately.  Shame I can't say the same for my craft room!  The image is a Penny Black Stickeroo, unknown bp,  and the stamped sentiment is by Daisy and Dandelion.  I distressed all the edges which I love doing at the moment!

Sparkles Forum Challenge#9 - Easter

It is time for Challenge#9 on Sparkles Forum Challenges, a fortnightly challenge blog, and this time the theme is Easter.  There is a fab voucher to be won to be spent in Stitchy Bear store.  For my DT card I used one of my lovely House Mouse Easter stamps and coloured him in with Promarkers.  I kept this card quite simple and just added some bp and adhesive pearls.

Also coming on Wednesday 13th April, Shaz is starting a new challenge blog just for fun, Ruby's Rainbow Challenges, no prizes etc. so keep a look out for this one!

The Sparkles Forum Christmas Challenge is currently Ribbons and Gems. It is a monthly challenge blog and a great way to make an early start on those Christmas cards, as it is creeping nearer and nearer!

I am also entering this card for the Simon Says Stamp Spring Colours/Easter challenge.

W for White With One Colour

The new theme on the Alphabet Challenge Blog this week is White With One Colour.  For my DT work I embossed some white card with an embossing folder, and stamped some flowers onto a mat and coloured them in with a Promarker which I also used to edge everything with.  I added some ribbon, some gems and a  Card Candy greeting and kept it fairly simple.

MTTC Challenge #135 - Nautical

The new theme on My Time To Craft is Nautical.  For  my DT card I recycled a picture off an old birthday card!  I distressed the edges of some co-ordinating bp and added some peel offs and some Card Candy to finish.  I'm quite pleased because the card, bp and peel offs I have had for years, it's good to use old stash up!

V for Vehicles

The new theme on the Alphabet Challenge Blog is V for Vehicles.  For my DT card I inked and stamped the background, image and greeting using Distress and Versafine inks,  and edged with Copper Krylon.  I can't remember the make of the stamps, they are an acrylic travel set!
