Christmas Banner Part 2

The next challenge on Ready Steady Stamp for our banners, is to use our chosen colours, a Christmas tree, eyelets, Cut' n Dry stamping and Kraft paper. I didn't like doing the Cut 'n Dry stamping and don't think I would use it much again, I tried several objects to press my heated up piece of Cut 'n Dry into and eventually settled on a Christmas tree charm, but I am not keen! I used a Technique Tuesday tree stamp and stamp and embossed it onto some Kraft paper, adding embellishments including the eyelets, and edging everything with gold Krylon.

the cut n' dry stamping works best for larger images (like backgrounds), that might be why you did not like it too much.
Your banner is lovely, thanks for playing with us

I've never tried the cut n dry stamping, it's still on my to do list. Your results are effective, even if you weren't keen. I really love these banners, something a bit different from all the cards!

This is so beautiful Lesley - I love the muted colours you have chosen! I liked the Cut n' Dry foam stamping - I used a stamp on my background and then pressed the same stamp into the foam & used that for my tree and a border. I liked the contrast between the two. But I guess you have to experiment.
