The Butterfly Project

In an effort to remember the 1,500,000 innocent children who perished during the Holocaust, The Holocaust Museum in Houston is organising a massive exhibition, currently scheduled for Spring 2012, and is asking people to make a butterfly to represent every child who died.

More details are here

Craft Swap Forum is taking part in this project and is hoping to make a large collection of butterflies to send to the Museum.

Here is my first one - I will make some more!

Absolutely beautiful. I love butterflies - many of my cards contain at least 1! - and this one made me sigh with admiration!
