I have been wanting to make a skinny for ages, having done hundreds of fat pages and finally have got round to it. This one is for the Skinny Saturday challenge - Sitting Pretty. I have used 7 Gypsies and Crafty Individuals papers, Aged Mahogany Distress Ink, a downloaded image, the button strip is by K & Co, and a few primas. I am pleased with it and am looking forward to making the next challenge!!

I first saw Moos on daisy's blog and thought they looked a lovely size to work on - 2.8cm x 7cm. Here are my first attempts for the Make a Moo or Two challenge which is Travel. I used a map backing paper, some downloaded images, a charm and some Tim Holtz doodads, a few small stamped images, and Vintage Photo and Walnut Stain Distress Inks.

This week's challenge from the Arty Girlz is Circles. I have used some patterned card with circles on, stamped my Funky Fairy (so cute!!) and coloured her with Sakura pens to co-ordinate. Then I punched some circles with my Cropodile to embellish the Primas and bottom of the card!

I made this for the My Time To Craft Challenge which I set this week!! I inked the background piece of moutboard with Pine Needles and Broken China Distress Inks, spritzed with Forest Green glimmer mist and stamped randomly. Then I got 4 pieces of stampbord and inked them in the same way, then stamped and embossed the butterflies and dragonflies and embellished them.

I made this card for OH's birthday - he is a birdwatcher so will love these owls hopefully! I love them anyway!! I inked round the edges with Vintage Photo and Peeled Paint Distress Inks and stamped some leaves, then stamped the main image onto another piece of card and coloured it with Distress Inks and Cut 'n' Dry pen nibs.

I have been busy making tags for a tag swap - and here they are!! I inked the backgrounds with Pine Needles and Faded Jeans Distress Inks and spritzed with a green Glimmer Mist then stamped an assortment of Paper Artsy stamps on them, embossing a couple of bits here and there. I added a couple of Paper Artsy German Scraps too!!

This is a card I made for the Arty Girlz challenge which is 'Green'. I inked the background with Peeled Paint Distress Ink, splattered it with water and then stamped some leaves on in the same colour. Then I stamped a large tree with Olympia Green Versafine and embossed it, then inked round the edges with Peeled Paint, and matted it on to the card with green brads.

Here is the card I made for this week's My Time to Craft challenge - Lace. I used a piece of real lace laid onto sticky paper and applied green glitter, then pulled the lace off and put white glitter in the gaps! I think it is very effective and in real life is very sparkly. I then stamped and water coloured the image of the lady to match.

Here is a fat book page I have made for the Papertake Weekly Challenge, Spring in Your Step, and also for the CSF Fat Book Challenge which is Spring has Sprung!! I love making little scenes so thoroughly enjoyed doing this one!!
This is a DLO from the Things We Overlook Challenge I am working on, and the theme this time was our Collections! I had a few to choose from but chose my ducks! I took photos of a small part of my collection, then had to do my journalling on a tag and put it behind a photo as I had left myself no room on the pages!!
Week 4 of the Sunday Stampers challenges is to use Birds - I had this lovely cute Holly Pond Hill stamp sitting on the table fresh from ebay so I decided to use it!! I wanted to make a little snowy scene, so I dragged a bit of silver dabber and glitter glue across the bottom to get a snowy effect and stamped some footprints leading to the mouse and bird which I stamped and water coloured! I finished it off with a little flock of birds at the top and the words Friends Always seemed appropriate for the stamp!!

I am working my way through the Elsie Flannigan 52 Challenges book - and this week our challenge was to take an 'arty' photo!! Well, I quite liked the look of the icy cracked water in the birdbath against the edge of it - yes, sounds odd doesn't it!! So I took my photo and came up with this LO, which also gave me a reason to use the huge big grey bloom I had got!!

I have lost a couple of days this week due to illness, so I have combined 2 challenges for this tag!! One is the Arty Girlz Challenge which is stamping this week, and the other is the stamped decoupage challenge by Sunday Stampers. I have stamped this lovely daffodil girl by Stampotique, and stamped her head again and decoupaged it!

I am pleased to be on the design team of the new challenge blog - My Time to Craft Challenge - together with Kate (Crafterkate) and wendy (anntaurus).
The challenge for this week is Newspaper, and here is my interpretation - a fat book page made using torn newspaper stuck on the opposite corners and inked with Distress Ink Vintage Photo, the remainder of the page being inked and stamped with Versafine Sepia. Then I cut a few words from the newspaper and stuck them on together with a charm and some eyelets and ribbon.
Please take a look each week for the challenges!!

I have made this LO to cover 3 challenges!! One is the Scrummy Stash Cafe Challenge, which is to use Monograms, and I have used Lisa Bearnson plain chipboard alphas and painted them with acryclic paints and added ..... sshhh!! Peeloffs!! It is also another entry for the Papertake Weekly Challenge to use flowers, and it is for Week 6 of the Elsie Flannigan 52 Challenges, which is to use a cluster of ribbons!!
I needed to make a birthday card for my granddaughter, who loves skulls! So as I had left it to the last minute as usual, I had a sort out and found some scraps of wrapping paper with skulls on, and a label from my daughter's socks (she likes skulls too!!) and used some peeloffs - which I am quite happy to admit to using from time to time!! Georgia loved her card!

I am making a few Easter cards for my mum, and this card also covers a couple of challenges! The Arty Girlz challenge this week is to make a frame, and the Papertake Challenge is to use blooms! So I have done both on this card.

Here is this week's tag for the Sunday Stampers Challenge which was themed Monochrome, black and white or black and cream. I have used a cream tag and Black Soot Distress Ink rubbed round the edges, then stamped and embossed the TH tree in black, used a couple of Paper Artsy words, and an owl (had to use gold for him cos I wanted to)!!

I made this card which actually covers 3 things really! One is the Arty Girlz Challenge which is to include a pocket on the item made which I have done! Another is to use DCWV products for a challenge on UKS, which I have done (Floral Stack papers) and the third thing is I needed a card for a friend who I think likes purple! I may have got that bit wrong but I hope she likes it anyway!!
