I wanted to do some Christmas cards using inky backgrounds, so I rubbed Pine Needles Distress Ink over white card, and splattered them with small drops of water, then dabbed dry with kitchen paper and blasted with my heat gun. Then I stamped randomly with a pine needles stamp and some small words from my HOTP clear stamp set. Then I stamped greetings onto a piece of card and heat embossed with clear embossing powder and matted it with dark green and then gold and stuck them on the card.
I am married with 3 grown up children ,4 grandchildren and 2 dogs! I have always done crafting of some sort, originally knitting, cross stitching and tapestry, then I began paper crafting some years ago and haven't looked back!
I like to take photos of my garden for scrapbooking and the one on here is a sunflower that the birds kindly planted for me!
P.S. - Now I have gone back to doing a lot of knitting, crocheting and sewing too!
