Ruby's Rainbow Challenge #40 - Use a Doily
The new theme on Ruby's Rainbow Challenges for the next 2 weeks is to Use a Doily. For my DT work I made a journal page and used Distress Ink on my doily and Dylusion spray for the background (which is still staining my hand 24 hours later!).

Spooky Twinchie
The new theme on Show Us Your Twinchie Challenge Blog this time is Spooky Stuff, so I have made my little twinchie using a piece of a Tim Holtz sticker image, inky background, stamped and Stickled! It's come out a little dark, will try and get a better pic if the light picks up!

Ruby's Rainbow Challenge #39 - Cute and Cuddly

A Twinchie at Last!
I used to love making twinchies (2" x 2"), and inchies and fat pages and all sorts but haven't got round to it much lately and when I discovered the Show us Your Twinchies Challenge Blog I thought it would be a good chance to make one again! The Happy Scrappers Ch#6 - Pets/Animals
Our 6th challenge already on The Happy Scrappers, and for the next month the theme is Pets/Animals. Although I have many pets, I decided to do my LO using photos of my granddaughter visiting Paradise Wildlife Park and feeding some animals. I used a DCWV paper stack and embellishments I have had for a while and they matched perfectly!

R for Recycle, Repurpose
The new theme chosen by Roxx on the Alphabet Challenge Blog for the next 2 weeks is R for Recycle, Repurpose. I have been making a calendar throughout the year, and I have recycled the backing card from packs of cards and envelopes to make my calendar pages, gessoing them before decorating them.

The Cupboard Trilogy Ch#4 - Things With Wings
Goodness we are up to our 4th challenge already now on The Cupboard Trilogy challenge blog, and for this month the theme is Things With Wings. I decided to make my DT LO using photos I have taken in the garden of butterflies and insects. I used some pretty K & Co bp which didn't need a great deal adding to it really so just popped a few bits here and there!

Alphabet Challenge - Q for Queen
The new challenge on Alphabet Challenge Blog was chosen by Mari, and is Q for Queen (Jewels fit for a Queen). For my DT work I decided to make another journal page using a lovely Queen's Dresser Drawers stamp I found in my stash that I forgot I had! I used sprays and inks for the background and paper pieced some of the parts of the stamp.

Ruby's Rainbow Challenge #37 - Bingo
For this challenge on Ruby's Rainbow Challenges, Shaz has chosen to do a Bingo theme - pick a line going in any direction from the grid and use the items named. For my DT work I made a card using the Lace, Flowers and Buttons diagonal line. The image is one of my old favourite Hero Arts stamps, and I used a MS lace punch for the lace.

The Cupboard Trilogy Ch#3 - Tic Tac Toe
My last post for today! The new challenge on The Cupboard Trilogy for the month is Tic Tac Toe. Choose a line from the grid going in any direction and use those 3 elements on your work. I went for Bright Colours, Ribbons and Flowers for my DT work and used some beautiful K & Co Mira paper that I have hoarded for a long time! You can make cards, LO's or digi LOs for this challenge so go on over and have a go!
