Sketch Challenge

We have a sketch by Becky for this week's My Time To Craft challenge. I used a Penny Black cute mouse stamp and HOTP papers plus embellishments for my card. I watercoloured the image with Marvy Le Plumes.

Soft and Sweet

The new challenge on Penny Black Saturday is Soft and Sweet. I used my cute PB Playtime stamp that I hadn't got round to using although I have had it for a while! and watercoloured it in with Marvy Le Plumes. Papers are HOTP. The message is a Daisy and Dandelion one.

Q is for Quail

Q this week on Linda's Alphabet Challenge Blog and I have used a Quail for my nature themed atc.

Funky Fairys Challenge - A Sketch

This week we had a sketch to follow designed by Jilly on the Funky Fairys Challenge Blog. I used the free Purple papers, available from the Inspiration Blog (link on right). A Bird in the Hand

The new theme on My Time to Craft is A Bird in the Hand. I used part of my Leanne Ellis Fly Free stamp and coloured her in with Promarkers, Copics and Marvy Le Plumes! I added Card Candy and flowers to embellish.

Yellow Tulips

Another Funstamps flower stamp and another play with my Copics! The greeting stamp is from Hero Arts.

P is for Poppy

P this week on Linda's Alphabet Challenge Blog, and I used the same poppy stamp as the post below for my nature themed atc and again coloured it in with Copics.

Red Poppy

I bought a few Copics to compare them with Promarkers - I think I prefer the Copics! If nothing else I can get the tops off easier! I used 2 of them to make this simple Poppy card using a Funstamps stamp.

I am also entering this card for the fab blog candy being offered on Charmed Cards and Crafts - with a super prize of 72 Copics! All you have to do is submit something using a coloured in image - full details on their blog.

A Funky Fairys Recipe

The challenge this week on Funky Fairys is to use a recipe - use 4 patterned papers, 3 embellishments, 2 punched items and 1 image. I made my card using FF Doodlementals, Gorjuss Ginghams and Christmas Blue papers, and a stamped image from a stamp I bought ages ago and had not used before. I paper pieced her dress and balloon too. Pop over to the challenge blog and join in this week for a chance to win a FF download paper kit!

Fly Free

I finally treated myself to some new stamps after about 2 months of not buying anything! I saw this Leanne Ellis stamped called Fly Free and thought it was very cute - it arrived today and I have used it straight away! I watercoloured her in with my Marvy Le Plumes, also used were Nestablities labels die, K & Co paper, Leone Em punch and Adirondack Acrylics.

O is for Owls

O this week on Linda's Alphabet Challenge Blog - so I have made my nature-themed atc on Owls. My little atc book is coming along nicely!

Saying Hello

I made this LO for the July/August Scrapbook Challenge on Craft Swap Forum that I set each month, and used Scarlet's Letter paper by BG.

Beach Theme

The theme on Funky Fairys Challenge Blog this week is Beach so I made my card using the cute Imaginisce penguins, and FF Dots are Distressing paper in blue for the sky and FF yellow stripey paper for the beach. No Patterned Paper!

The theme on My Time to Craft this week is to use No Patterned Paper. I used the resist technique on my card with some botanical stamps, Versamark clear ink and clear embossing powder, then Black Soot Distress Ink rubbed over. I then stamped in the gaps in black with a different stamp, and matted the main image on top.

Lou is 2!

My little granddaughter Louise, or Lou as she is called by nearly everyone! is 2 today. I made this card using my Slice for the letters, number and rabbit, and peeloffs - yes I admit to using them sometimes and I like them!!

Christmas

The theme on Funky Fairys Challenge blog this week is Christmas!! I used the FF Pink Christmas paper and an Elzybells image for my card and plenty of glitter! House Mouse Star Book

I made a little House Mouse Star Book for fifi's birthday - I hope she liked it!!
