Alpha Challenge - F

Our new letter on The Craft Barn's Alpha Challenge is F but it has to be between FE and FR in the dictionary.  I went for Flight for my ATC and was able to use a Tim Holtz stamp that I have had for ages tucked away and never used!

Ruby's Rainbow Challenge #55 - Baby

The new challenge on Ruby's Rainbow Challenges for the next two weeks is Baby.  For my DT work I have made a LO for my daughter's baby album (she is 26 and I'm working on it now!).   The bit on the left is a door hanger I had to make for a previous DT a few years ago and it came in handy for this page!

Happy Birthday

I needed to make a batch of birthday cards recently, and as the Alphabet Challenge Blog's current challenge is Happy I can enter this for it!  It's quite a simple card, made using an image from an old birthday card I received, and although I love inky and messy I also quite like clean and simple too!

Crafty Ribbons is a ribbon emporium, we are passionate about ribbons and want to share our fantastic ribbons with others. Our range of Christmas ribbons is second to none.

Need a little bit of ribbon inspiration - then have a look at our projects on our blog,or visit our Inspiration blog,or maybe join in with us at our Challenge blog.  Go on, have a look... It's worth it !

I made a card this time for my DT work, and as green is one of my favourite colours I used it for this.  I cut a butterfly from a left over piece of paper and used other scraps for the background,  added a bit of stamping and punched a couple of flowers.  As I have added glitter to the butterfly and gems on the flowers, I am entering this for my old blog, the Alphabet Challenge Blog whose theme this time I chose before I left and is Glitter and Gems.

Ruby's Rainbow Challenge #54 - Squares

The new theme on Ruby's Rainbow Challenges for the next 2 weeks is Squares.  For my DT work for this one I have made my art journal calendar pages for May and used squares for my days.

Alpha Challenge - K

We are up to week 10 on The Craft Barn's Alpha Challenge and our letter this time is K.  I went for K for Key as I expect quite a few might, but I used an image of a typewriter to represent 'keys' and also a little stamped image of a ticket saying Admit One which is supposed to represent a key opening something to admit someone!

Alpha Challenge - A

This time our letter on The Craft Barn's Alpha Challenge is A.  I went for A for Aeroplane for my ATC as I had a couple of suitable stamps I could use!

The Cupboard Trilogy Challenge #11 - Spring Flowers

And my final blog post for today is the new challenge on The Cupboard Trilogy which is Spring Flowers.  I have used photos taken this year of some of the beautiful flowers in my garden for my LO and had a great time die cutting and punching out flowers and leaves to embellish it!

Ruby's Rainbow Challenge #53 - Furry Friends

My second post today is for the new challenge on Ruby's Rainbow Challenges which is Furry Friends. For my DT work I have made a LO using photos of my guinea pig boys - the photos seemed to print out a little faded so I used a pale background to match.  I had a Sizzix die of flowers that exactly matched the bp (DCWV) so used that for the first time, I've only had it for about 6 years!

Sparkles Christmas Challenge #28 - Favourite Festive Colours

The new challenge on Sparkles Christmas Challenges for the month of May is Favourite Festive Colours.  For my DT card I used some Daisy and Dandelion transfers I've had for a while (I'm constantly trying to use up old stash!) and bp to co-ordinate.  I love reds and greens for Christmas!

This month we are sponsored by Fantastic Ribbons with a lovely prize of a £10 voucher to be won.
