The new theme on the Alphabet Challenge Blog this week is O for Only One Colour Plus White. For my DT work I made a little Christmas card using one of my favourite snowman stamps and coloured him in blues. I did use a little bit of orange for his nose, but you can't have a snowman without one!
The new theme on Ruby's Rainbow Challenges for the next two weeks is Butterflies. For my DT work I have made another art journal page using Dylusions sprays, Distress and Adirondack inks and various stamps from my vast collection!
The new challenge for the next two weeks on the Alphabet Challenge Blog, is N for Nautical. For my DT work I have made a card for my BIL who is very keen on boats, using a rub on I have had for years and now finally found a use for!
Time for a new theme for the next month on The Happy Scrappers, and this time it is Sport. For my DT work I made a LO using photos of my son surfing. I found the ideal bp in my stash and ripped white paper round the edges of the photos to look like waves! The clear stickers I have had for years and finally found a suitable use for them, and the swirls are cut with a QK Revolution die.
And for the third of my posts today (and the day my computer decides to play up making it extremely hard to post anything!) we are on our second challenge on The Cupboard Trilogy, which this month is Embossing. For my DT work, I made a LO using some card stock that had already been embossed with a leaf pattern. The photos are of our cute rabbit Billy, who sadly died a little while ago. I also embossed some strips of card using a zigzag Cuttlebug border embossing folder, and die cut some birds and ran them through my dotty Cuttlebug embossing folder.
The new theme for Sparkles Christmas Challenges for the month of August is Punch It. This month we are sponsored by Joanna Sheen for a fab £10 voucher, and Di's Digis for a $10 voucher, so pop on over to the blog and take part for a chance of winning - Christmas is creeping ever closer!
For my DT work I made a little card using one of my favourite PB snowman stamps coloured with Promarkers, and punched some small snowflakes to go down the side.
The new theme on Ruby's Rainbow Challenges for the next two weeks is Anything But A Card. So for my DT work I have made another page for my calendar that I have been making this year using photos I have taken in our garden. As always though I am behind and really should get on and make my August page seeing as we are now in it!!
I am married with 3 grown up children ,4 grandchildren and 2 dogs! I have always done crafting of some sort, originally knitting, cross stitching and tapestry, then I began paper crafting some years ago and haven't looked back!
I like to take photos of my garden for scrapbooking and the one on here is a sunflower that the birds kindly planted for me!
P.S. - Now I have gone back to doing a lot of knitting, crocheting and sewing too!
