Mum's The Word

The challenge on My Time To Craft this week is Mum's the Word.  For my DT card I have again used an image from a Jayne Netley Mayhew CD (been getting my money's worth out of this lately!) and printed off some backing paper for it from the same CD.

Sparkles Forum Challenge #8 - Springtime

The theme for Sparkles Forum Challenge blog this fortnight is Springtime.  There is a fab prize of a 3 digi images of choice from Didges Doodles, so pop on over and have a go!
For my DT card I used some very old bp which I believe was one of the first packs of 12 x 12 papers I bought from QVC all those years ago!  I love this Hero Arts stamp and use it a lot.  I coloured white Card Candy blobs with Promarkers to get them the colour I needed - quite pleased with that, I am sure it has been done loads but I only just thought of it!

U for Up In The Air

We are nearing the end of the alphabet for the third time on the Alphabet Challenge Blog, and this week the theme is U for Up In The Air.  Time has been a bit short this week, so I made a quick and easy but hopefully pretty card, using a Penny Black Stickeroo, these are a godsend when I am in a hurry! The sentiment is by Daisy and Dandelion, I use these a lot lately.

I am also entering this card for the Up In The Air challenge on Paper Crafting Journey challenge blog.

Ladies Day

The new theme on My Time To Craft is Ladies Day.  For my DT work I wanted to have a go at a technique I have seen a lot lately of distressing all the edges of the papers and mats so found my Tim Holtz distressing tool and went for it - great fun!  I used an Elzybells image coloured with Promarkers and Copics (I use an assortment of both)  and Daisy and Dandelion papers, and a Card Candy greeting and blobby things!

I am also entering this card for the Spots and Dots challenge over at Freshly Brewed Challenges.

MTTC Challenge #131 - Jewels

The new theme on My Time To Craft is Jewels.  For my DT work I decided to make quite a simple card.  I used some Crafty Individuals bp and stamped a butterfly twice, coloured with Promarkers and added jewels to embellish.  I stamped a Daisy and Dandelion greeting (I like these and am using them a lot lately!).  I originally stamped it straight onto the card but smudged it at the end so had to stamp again and cut out and stick it over!  Bit annoying as I preferred it the first way but I wasn't going to make the whole card again!!
