Vintage Cards

The new challenge on My Time To Craft is Vintage Cards.  In my haste to get my DT work completed I misread our instructions and made an ATC - which technically is a card as it is an Artists Trading Card!!  I wanted to use old stash up, so used K & Co paper for the background with a little stamping and inking round the edges, and a HOTP image, Tim Holtz doodads, sticky lace, Primas and adhesive pearls - all things I have had for a while!

CYDA - Challenge#9 - Texture

The new challenge for this fortnight on Craft Your Days Away is Texture.  This challenge is sponsored by Simon Says Stamp and you could be in with a chance of winning a $10 spend with free p&p if you take part.

I have used stamps by Unity, called A Mother's Love, available here for my DT card.   I stamped the butterfly and embossed it, colouring in with Promarkers.  The bp is by My Mind's Eye and I co-ordinated the Primas and Card Candy to embellish with texture, and finally added a foam bird!

I am also entering this card for the Top Tip Tuesday challenge - Layer Upon Layer

E for Embossing

The new challenge on the Alphabet Challenge Blog this week is E for Embossing.  For my DT card I used my Cuttlebug snowflake embossing folder, and used one of my old favourites, a Funstamps image.  The snowflakes are punched with my Martha Steward punch which seems to be making an appearance on most of my Christmas cards this year!  Not sure what the bp is - it is from my huge stash mountain!

Tag Along

The new theme on My Time To Craft is Tag Along.  For my DT card I stamped and coloured in a snowman image and stamped a greeting onto a tag.  I doodled round the edges, and cut snowflake with a Martha Stewart punch - much used on all my Christmas cards! The holly leaves are punched also and the berries are Liquid Pearls.

D for Doodling

The new challenge on the Alphabet Challenge Blog is D for Doodling.  I made my DT card using stamps from the Fall for You kit by Unity, available here.  I embossed a mat with a Cuttlebug folder and cut one with a Nestabilities die, edging it with doodling.  The image is coloured in with Promarkers, and the bp is DCWV that I have had for years!

Craft Your Days Away Challenge #8 - Christmas Trees

It was my turn to choose the theme for Craft Your Days Away, and I chose Christmas Trees!  We all need to be getting on with making our Christmas cards, well I do anyway!  This fortnight the challenge is being sponsored by Charmed Cards & Crafts and the lucky winner will win 2 digital bundles of their choice, so pop over to the blog and take part!

I stamped a Hero Arts tree stamp and coloured in with Promarkers.  The bp is by Papermania (yes that stack that we all bought years ago and is still going strong!).  The snowflakes are punched with a Martha Stewart punch, and the greeting is by Card Candy.

C for Cats

The new theme on the Alphabet Challenge Blog is C for Cats.  For my DT card, I used a Penny Black cat image, and coloured it in with Copics and Promarkers.  I kept it fairly simple, the bp is I think HOTP, and I added some ribbon, Card Candy and flowers to embellish.

Cherish

The theme on InchybyInch this week is Cherish.  I used one of my never ending supply of HOTP images (actually I am working through them fairly quickly!) and thought that this little girl would cherish and be cherished!

Rhapsody of Roses

The new challenge on My Time To Craft is Rhapsody of Roses.  I made this DT card using an Anita's Stamps rose stamp, coloured in with Promarkers.  I matted some HOTP paper onto gold card and added some adhesive gems for embellishing.  I don't often use peel off greetings but thought the gold went well with it.

B for Birds

We are up to B on the Alphabet Challenge Blog, and the theme is Birds.  For my DT card I used a lovely robin stamp by Linda Luckin, coloured in with Copics and glitter glue.

Patience

The theme on InchybyInch this week is Patience.  I had to think outside the box for this one, and decided that the mother of this child needs patience to get him/her to sleep!!  As usual, the image is a HOTP one, I will be running out of these soon!

Quick and Cute

The challenge on My Time To Craft is Quick and Cute.  For my DT card I used a Penny Black Stickeroo which are cute and quick to use!  I matted onto some DCWV bps and punched some flowers to embellish.
