Separation

The theme on InchybyInch this week is Separation.  Fiona gives us a word to use each week, and my goodness was this a hard one, especially to fit on an inchie!  The inchie I have made is of a couple parting - one of whom is getting on a train!  It is part of a HOTP image, I am pleased I am getting a chance to use these as I have had them for some years now!

Looks Like Autumn

The new theme on My Time To Craft this week is Looks Like Autumn.  I made my DT card using Adirondack inks to colour the background, and to stamp various leaf stamps on.  I clear embossed them and stamped and mounted a Personal Impressions leaf stamp, again colouring in with Adirondack inks and clear embossing.

Catching Up!

I was a few weeks behind on the InchybyInchy challenges where Fiona is giving us a word each week to use to make our inchies.  So I have now caught up with the 3 weeks and here they are, touch, dainty and wave.  I used HOTP images that I have had for years so am pleased to have finally found a use for them!

V is for Vintage

We are nearing the end of our third time through the alphabet on Alphabet Challenge Blog.  This week the theme is V for Vintage.   For my DT card I stamped a script stamp for the background and coloured in a rose image to put over the top.  The background paper is mulberry paper torn round the edges and added to gold card.  I stamped the word Love and added various embellishments to finish.

CYDA Challenge #4 - Autumn Doodles

The new challenge on Craft Your Days Away is Autumn Doodles.  The challenge, which runs for a fortnight, is sponsored by Whimsy Stamps and the lucky winner will receive 5 digi downloads, so pop over to the blog and have a go!
For my DT work I made a tag using the lovely Harvest of Memories set by Unity, available here.   I inked the background with Rusty Hinge Distress Ink and stamped some of the leaves on the background, which don't show up too well on here!  I used a couple of the main stamps and doodle stitched around the edges, punched some leaves and finished with some metallic nailheads.

U for Unused Stash

The new theme on Alphabet Challenge Blog is U for Unused Stash.  For my DT card I used a Penny Black stamp that I bought ages ago and forgot about!  I'm not sure what the bp's are, maybe HOTP, but I have certainly had them a long time too!

Harvest of Memories

I have made a tag using stamps from the wonderful new set from Unity, Harvest of Memories (August 2010) available from Emily here.   I inked a tag with Wild Honey DI and stamped some of the leaves onto it, stamped one of the sentiments and added some leaf brads and copper nail heads, finally edging the tag with copper Krylon pen.

Jewelled and a DT Call

The new challenge on My Time To Craft, which will run for a fortnight this time, is Jewelled.  There is also a DT call for 2 new DT members to pop over to the blog and take a look.  For my DT card I used a Penny Black Stickeroo to make my card, and made the background with my swirly Cuttlebug embossing folder and punched some flowers and added jewels to the centres and round the image and sentiment.

CYDA Challenge #3 - Girly 'n' Glitter

The theme on Craft Your Days Away this time is Girly 'n' Glitter.  There is a prize to be won of a $10 spend in Simon Says Stamp store with p & p paid for, so pop over to the blog to enter!

For my DT card I used a sweet set of stamps from My Cute Stamp, available here, called Tea Party.  I stamped several of the images and coloured them with Copics, and added SU Diamond Dust for some sparkle.  The bp is by Daisy and Dandelion, and I kept the embellishments fairly simple with Primas and Card Candy.
