I enjoyed taking part in my first Unity Friends with Flair (FWF) blog hop last week so I am doing it again this week! My card today is made using stamps from the Unity Adventures in Happiness March 2010 kit, available from Make The Day Special. The images are coloured with Copics, and the bp's are by DCWV, I have had them in my stash for ages so it is good to finally use them!
Materials:
Stamps - Unity Adventures in Happiness
Inks - Memento and Copics
Papers - DCWV
Other - adhesive gems

A is for Animals
Having completed the alphabet twice on the Alphabet Challenge Blog, and having other commitments in life now, Linda has handed the running of the blog over to me! She will stay on the DT and join in when she can. Fifi is staying on and we have a new member, She, joining us.
To start the alphabet again, we have this week A for Animals, and I have made a tag using Wild Honey and Crushed Olive DI's and a lovely stamp in my collection but I don't know who it is made by as it came in just a plastic bag a while ago and I can't remember where I bought it! My tag is embellished with sticky paper lace, Primas and a Tim Holtz Doodad.
Pop over to the challenge blog to see what the other DT's have come up with!

Ruby, Ruby, Ruby, Ruby !
The theme on My Time To Craft this week is Ruby, Ruby, Ruby, Ruby! which I have been singing in my head ever since I heard what our theme was going to be!! I have made my DT card using a Cuddly Buddly image coloured in with Copics and water colours, and Funky Fairys bp which is sadly no longer available. I used Nesties to cut the mats and Woodware trimmer for the scalloped strip. Primas and Card Candy finish the card off.

I have made this cute card using QKR Stampede stamps, Heart Box Angel and Love, available from Make The Day Special. I coloured her in with my Copics to try and match the pretty bps, whose name escapes me!! I cut out a couple of the flowers from the paper to embellish and added some glittery adhesive gems to finish.

Z is for .....
Zebra! Yes we have got to the end of the alphabet for a second time on the Alphabet Challenge Blog. We will be starting again at A next week, but Linda is passing over the reins to me to run the challenges as her circumstances have changed somewhat since the blog started and she has less time now. She will be staying on as a DT member and joining in as and when she can.
I used a Tanda zebra stamp for my atc, coloured with Distress Inks to try and make it look a bit like a safari scene!

Quick Quotes
The new challenge on My Time To Craft this week is Quick Quotes. For my DT card, I used some K & Co Hannah bp and stamped the Penny Black quote onto a mat cut on my Slice. I used Antique Linen and Crushed Olive Distress Inks, and inked some sticky lace and finally added some Primas and pearls to finish.
I am also entering this card for the Creative Craft World challenge which is to use Primas on our work.

Ready-Steady-STAMP Challenge 18
We are up to the 18th challenge on RSS and this time we had to use Blue, white/cream, brown and black, Sea, sand, seashells and an oval! I had a great idea in mind for this but couldn't find the papers I needed and after searching high and low, gave up and went for a stamped fat book page instead. Hopefully I have got all the ingredients right! The main image is by Personal Impressions, the background is inked with Distress Inks and the image coloured with Copics. I stuck on some little shells, and added brads in the appropriate colours too!

I seem to blog a lot of things with Alphabet letters lately! Here is my inchie for this week's InchybyInchy challenge, where we are up to L in our alphabet of inchies. I have stamped a leaf, coloured with a Copic and used Rusty Hinge Distress Ink which is gorgeous!
And here are the 12 I have made so far, I am pleased with how they look all together!

Lemons!
Here is my first Guest DT card for Make The Day Special. The images are from a Unity Store Kit called 'Adventures in Happiness' March 2010. I coloured the images with my Copics, and the bp is by Flavia, called Lemons and Lilacs, which seemed appropriate! I added punched flowers and glittery gems to finish.

B
Has blogger changed! I can't find the bit where we choose the font we want! Oh well, perhaps it is me lol! Perhaps I have clicked something I shouldn't have! Anyway, the theme on Something Completely Different this month is various letters of the alphabet, and this week it is B. I have made a tag using a butterfly girl Crafty Individuals image, coloured with Distress Inks. The words under it say 'butterfly girl' but it hasn't scanned very well! I distressed the edges with my Tim Holtz edge distresser, and have used the word Believe for added measure! Oh and the little butterflies are punched and stamped with Martha Stewart butterfly punch and stamp set.
PS I have sorted out my blogger problem! They have changed the editing thingy to a newer version, so hopefully I will be sorted for the next post!

I am also entering this card for the Magical Crafts Fortnightly Challenge, which is Animal Antics, so I think this card fits the bill!

R.I.P. Jasmine
Our dear little rabbit, Jasmine, died a couple of weeks ago. She was only about 9 months old and we don't know why she died, although we have since discovered that her brother has died also, so maybe they had something wrong with them when they were born. Such a shame, she was a cute little bunny. Luckily I had a few lovely photos of her taken last summer when she was still a baby. The cardstock I used is by DCWV from their Green Stack, and I knew it was just right for these photos as soon as I saw it. The black words were cut on the Cricut and the flowers are cut with the new Tim Holtz die.
