R is for .....

Red! This week we are up to R on Linda's Alphabet Challenge, and for my DT work I have made another atc for my A - Z book, using my new Bundled Sage Distress Ink (it is taking me a while to learn all the new colours!) and a rose stamp I have had for ages from a bumper QVC kit coloured in with Copics. The edge stamp and crackle background stamps are by Crafty Individuals.

Time

The theme on Tuesday Taggers this week is Time. I have several suitable stamps so made a tag for this, inking it with Scattered Straw Distress Ink and distressing the edges with my TH edge distresser and then inking with Brushed Cord. All the images and message are stamped with Versafine Vintage Sepia.

Satsuma, Gold and Chocolate!

Sounds yummy doesn't it! Those are the colours for the challenge on Winter Wonderland this week. I made my card using an orange gingham background, and my cute little eskimo man by Elzybells coloured in with Copics. He is matted onto gold card and chalk inked round the edges. The greeting is also from Elzybells. I used my MS punch for the snowflakes (I think they are on all my Christmas cards!) and Card Candy in the middles.

Q is for ...

Queen! We are up to Q on Linda's Alphabet Challenge Blog, and I have made another atc for my book, using Scattered Straw Distress Ink on the atc, PostModern Design stamp for my Queen, and Crafty Individuals crackle and swirl stamps for the background.

Exciting News!!

I have been asked by Maxine to design for her online shop, Which Crafts? I was delighted to accept! Maxine sent me one of the ATC kits from her shop to have a play with and these are what I came up with. Everything I used is from the kit, with the exception of a small amount of paper, some chalk inks and the word and butterfly stamps - everything else is included in the kit such as 10 chipboard atcs, backing papers, ribbons, fibres, a stamp, embellishments etc.

There is also a shop blog, with regular updates.

Green Plus One

The new challenge on My Time To Craft is Green Plus One. For my DT card I used my Penny Black 'An Afternoon' stamp and inked it with Olympia Green Versafine and clear embossed it, then rubbed over it with Worn Lipstick Distress Ink. I did the same with the Hero Arts message stamp, and matted them onto dark green card. The backing paper is a Funky Fairys one (no longer available).

I followed the sketch on this week's Winter Wonderland challenge too which also had an optional theme of Baby's First Christmas, but as I would have no use for that I opted not to!

Ready-Steady-STAMP Challenge 14

We are up to the 14th challenge on Ready-Steady-STAMP, and this time we had to use Green, Sand and Copper, Children, Heat embossing on metal, funky foam and die cut or border punching. All the stamps I used are by Crafty Individuals. The tag is matted on to brown funky foam. The flower in the right hand corner is a metal one I have had for ages, I coloured it with a Copper Krylon pen and embossed gold designs onto it. The punch I used is a Martha Stewart daisy border and I used the 3 colours in various ways.

O is for ....

Oval over on Linda's Alphabet Challenge blog. I used an oval frame stamp for my DT atc which I have had for years and came from a Carol Smith kit on QVC (anyone remember her!) and stamped an owl inside the frame. I used Antique Linen Distress Ink for the background and Peeled Paint to stamp and paint the leaves.

Quick Christmas Card

This card is for the Magical Crafts Forum weekly Christmas card challenge which had to include a Santa. I want to use up some of my vast stash of Christmas things and some cards don't need to be as intriate as others, so this is a quick one using some Forever Friends backing paper, and a Daisy and Dandelion die cut.
