Elegant Rose
The theme on My Time To Craft this week is Elegant Rose, to use a rose image/embellishment somewhere on our work. I made my DT card using an Anita's rose stamp that I have had for ages but still get out to use from time to time! I used mulberry paper with a gold thread running through, a script stamp, and gold mirri card behind it all. Various embellishments finished the card.
I am also entering this card for the Magical Crafts Fortnightly Challenge Blog which has a Valentine's theme this time.

Burgundy and Teal Christmas Card
The theme on Winter Wonderland at the moment is to use the colours Burgundy and Teal on our work. I used some HOTP papers, some Coredinations cardstock in teal, and a Personal Impressions stamp that I watercoloured in and used glitter glue for the snowy bits. The snowflakes are punched with a Martha Stewart punch and Card Candy is in the centres.
M is for Mouse
We are up to M on Linda's Alphabet Challenge Blog, and this week the theme is M for Mouse. I have made another atc for my book using Tea Dye Distress Ink and a House Mouse stamp. For the background I used a Crafty Individuals Crackle stamp and House Mouse foot print stamp! I will be using my BIA to make these into a book which is why I leave the edges clear of embellishments etc!

Fan
The new challenge on Ready Steady STAMP is to make a fan and to use lace, hearts, ladies and pink, red, black and white/cream. I think I fulfilled all the requirements and enjoyed making something different! I used Crafty Individuals stamps for the ladies and crackle background, and the squiggley stamp is an Anna Griffin one. The background is inked with Worn Lipstick Distress Ink and the red stamping is Fired Brick Distress Ink.
I am also entering this for the Papertake Weekly Challenge which this week is Pretty Pink Papertake.

Snow
I am determined to make Christmas cards throughout the year to avoid the last minute rush again! I didn't get round to using this Rubbadubbadoo stamp for Christmas just gone and I love it, so have used it today, together with HOTP paper, MS snowflake punch, mats cut on my Slice and Card Candy, for the following challenges:
Magical Crafts Forum - weekly Christmas card challenge which this week is Snow.
Susie & Vikki's Christmas Club - just found this challenge blog, this week it is Snow.
Challenge Up Your Life - again a new challenge blog to me, this week it is Ice and Snow.
Fussy and Fancy - again another new challenge blog to me, and this week it is Winter.

12 Tags of Christmas - Tag 12 - Finally!
I have finally finished the 12th tag in Tim's 12 Tags of Christmas. The flowers were very fiddly for my poor arthritic fingers! I think I need to perfect them a bit really, but I didn't have the right sort of shapes to use. I drew a template for the greenish one, and used a Slice diecut for the reddish one. More practise needed I think!!

12 Tags of Christmas - Tag 11
Nearly done these now! This is my version of Tim's Day 11 tag. I am not as keen on this one as some of the others. I had to improvise with the deer by using the leftover as a stencil from a grungeboard one and drawing round it on grungepaper and cutting it out, colouring with Red Pepper adirondack dabber and then stamping snowflakes over it, and as I don't have the itop thingy to make the flower centres Tim used I luckily had some fabric covered brads for Christmas (thank you She!) which I used instead! Nor do I have any white rub ons so had to use my white Inkessential pen!

Computer Kid!
I set a monthly Scrapbook Challenge on Craft Swap Forum, and this is my LO for the January challenge. My granddaughter loves using the computer, well trying to anyway! So her mum got her a toy laptop so she doesn't feel left out!

Blue and Brown
The new challenge on My Time To Craft is Blue and Brown, and I made my DT card using a Kanban tree stamp which is lovely to use. I clear embossed it using Sepia Versafine ink and added some Copper stickles to it. I used a blue base card, and brown paper for the mat, and unknown paper to stamp on!
12 Tags of Christmas - Tag 10
I didn't have all the metal bits and bobs Tim used for Day 10's tag, so I improvised and covered my tag in kitchen foil and alcohol inked it, then painted my grungeboard letters etc. with Silver dabber. I quite like it! 2 more tags to go and I am done!! The flash has made it look a bit wrinkly but it isn't really!

Fancy Antlers
The challenge on Winter Wonderland this week is to use Cinnamon, Lime and Berry on our work. I stamped my new Penny Black Fancy Antlers stamp and coloured him in with what I hope passes for a Cinnamon colour! I used DCWV paper for the background and punched snowflakes with my MS punch.

12 Tags of Christmas - Tag 9
I want to finish my 12 tags inspired by Tim's 12 Tags of Christmas, so here is my version of Tag 9! Only 3 to go so hopefully I will finish them over the next few days! I like this one, the photos are fab and the film strip ribbon is lovely to use, but not so lovely to wind back up to put it in the tin - it took me 3 goes to fit it back in!!
