Ready-Steady-STAMP!

The second challenge has now been set on Ready-Steady-STAMP. I made a fat book page again. There is lots of yellow on my page, a stamped sun and the word too, the words are stamped onto acetate, I have used ribbons at the side and the rays of the sun are triangles and the embellishment in the left corner is almost one! I hope I have got it right this week!

An ATC!

I wanted to make an ATC so inked some mountboard with Broken China and Peeled Paint Distress Inks, spritzed with silver Glimmer Mist (which I think has been lost in the stamp design!) then stamped my Tim Holtz stamp and clear embossed. I added a stamped word, some fibres and Adironadack Acrylic blobs!

Floral Frenzy

The theme on My Time To Craft this week is Floral Frenzy - to use as few or as many flowers as you wish. Well I got into a frenzy doing this card - it isn't what I intended it to be like! I stamped my image and coloured in with a Copic and a Promarker - but the Promarker (pink) bled all outside the edges, and I didn't want to waste such a large image. So I cut it out and mounted it onto the card with sticky foam pads - then thought it looked a bit flat so stamped and coloured it again and cut out the main part of the rose and decoupaged it. Anyone who knows me well knows I do NOT do decoupage! However, I am fairly pleased with how this card turned out eventually and it is now in the post to the recipients so I hope they like it! The gold corners are cut using a Cuttlebug die in my Big Shot.

R is for ...

Rose, Rabbit and Rat! We are at R this week on Linda's Alphabet Challenge Blog and I have made another of my nature themed atcs. I leave a gap at the edges ready for when I bind them at the end with my Bind It All so I don't lose my images to the holes!

Ready-Steady-STAMP!

I came across a new fortnightly challenge blog (thanks Angela!) called Ready-Steady-STAMP. They give you a list of ingredients that have to be included in your work. I really loved making this fat book page as I haven't done this sort of work for a while and it was great to go back to it! The Faux Batik was a first for me - I don't get the iron out very often!

Red Poppy

I bought a few Copics to compare them with Promarkers - I think I prefer the Copics! If nothing else I can get the tops off easier! I used 2 of them to make this simple Poppy card using a Funstamps stamp.

I am also entering this card for the fab blog candy being offered on Charmed Cards and Crafts - with a super prize of 72 Copics! All you have to do is submit something using a coloured in image - full details on their blog.
