Halloween Inchie
The challenge for October on Something Completely Different has been Inchies, and this week's theme is Halloween. I didn't have much small halloweeny stuff but found some images on a Joanna Sheen CD! I drew the spiders web in the background and edged it with Copper Krylon. It looks better IRL, but I needed the macro setting on the camera to get the detail!!

Ready-Steady-STAMP Challenge 8
For Challenge 8 on Ready-Steady-STAMP, we were asked to use C for Christmas, Black, Silver and Lilac, Snowflakes, Crackle glaze of some sort and a skinny sized 2" x 4". As I like to make fat book pages for my challenges which are 4" x 4", I had to have a think about how to get a "2 x 4" on that would look OK. I hope I achieved that lol! I used a deer Inkadinkado stamp and HOTP snowflakes and greetings stamps. I used Dusty Concord Distress Ink for the backgrounds, spritzed with water and Silver Glimmer Mist which doesn't show up too well on the photo. The crackle glaze is on the black snowflakes and behind the large silver one which also doesn't show up too well!

The challenge for the month of October on Something Completely Different has been Inchies, and the current challenge for this week is Faces. I made 2 inchies using Crafty Individuals stamps, stamped with Plum Archival Ink onto inchies inked with Aged Mahogany Distress Inks. I them mounted them onto a Moo I had stamped and embossed with gold, then edged everything with Gold Krylon!
Rip It Up
The new challenge on My Time To Craft is Rip It Up. I have made a LO and done lots of ripping of my DCWV cardstock, which is fab for ripping as it is white core. The photos are of my granddaughter Louise seeing snow for the first time last winter!

Another Christmas House
I have made another Christmas House in readiness for my swap. I have used a different shape and style this time. I rubbed it over with Vintage Photo and Fired Brick Distress Inks, and spritzed with a Gold Glimmer Mist, before stamping a Tim Holtz stamp on the main part and I used a snowflake Tapestry stamp for the roof. Finally I edged with a Gold Krylon.

A is for ...
... again! Yes we have gone back to the beginning of the alphabet for the second round of Linda's Alphabet Challenge. This time we had to make an A and decorate it and put it on our work, so I have made an atc and decorated my A with autumn acorns. I will be making an atc book again this time too!

Ready-Steady-STAMP Challenge 7
Challenge 7 on Ready-Steady-STAMP is to use Autumn, Brown, cream and ochre, Staples, Hessian and Distress Inks on background. I used the nearest colours I could to make my fat page and used a PSX leaf stamp and Hero Arts alphabet stamps for the word Autumn. This was right up my street as I love doing nature type work! I enjoyed doing my background as I haven't done this technique for a while - I smudged Distress Inks onto a non stick mat and spritzed with water then blotted my card onto it several times to accumulate the ink effect.

For my Quick and Cute card I used an image from an old calendar, matted it onto silver icy cardstock, and added a quick message, flowers and Stickle blobs!

Sleepy Eyes
Karen our team leader on UKS set us an In Team challenge - to take a photo of some eyes and scrap and journal about them. I took some pics of Poppy last night after Georgia had been here for the evening - she couldn't keep her eyes open, she was worn out from all the playing! I used Coredinations cardstock for the base and the PP is DCWV Green stack.

My Sketch Challenge
I set a monthly scrapbook challenge on Craft Swap Forum, and this month I decided to set a sketch challenge. Having not done this before I had to hand draw it as I don't have the techie abilities to produce one! This is my sketch and what I came up with and I am hoping a few people will have a go this month!
