Recycling!

I was going through some old Christmas cards and some of them are too nice to throw out! I loved this teddy image so used a Nestie die to cut him off the old card! I then noticed the sketch on the current Sketch and Stash Challenge uses a circle so have made this card for that. My neglected stash used is the blue card base, I bought a pack of these coloured cards ages ago and don't use them! Also new is the silver frosted card I used for the snowflakes (cut with a QK die), and the message is from a new Penny Black set of stamps. The backing paper is DCWV.

Christmas Cards

I need a variety of Christmas cards, some quick ones and some more detailed. I noticed on Christmas Cards All Year Round blog their challenge this month is to make 5 cards - no theme or colour specified. As I have been making some this morning I decided to enter these ones! 3 are stamped and 2 are using stickers.

Snow Buddies

The new theme on My Time To Craft is Snow Buddies. I used my Penny Black snowman stamp and some DCWV papers, a HOTP message stamp and some Card Candy for my card.

Purple Tag with Text

I found another challenge blog I hadn't seen before while hopping yesterday - DragonsDream Tag It On - and as I love making tags I had to have a go. The current challenge is - Text it to me - Make it Purple! So I used Dusty Concord and Milled Lavender Distress Inks, a purple Glimmer Mist which doesn't show up too well on the photo and an assortment of stamps and embellishments to make my tag!

While blog hopping I came across a challenge blog I hadn't seen before - Something Completely Different. The current challenge is to make a moo with some metal on. I love making moos and haven't made any for a while, so I inked mine with Broken China Distress Ink, stamped some butterflies and a border, added some words and a metal butterfly charm and some ric rac.

Cute Bunny

I made this card for 2 challenges, Sketch and Stash (my old stash was the base card which I have had for years! and the stamp is an old one too) and Papertake Weekly Challenge which this week is 'Faking It' - I did faux stitching on my card. The papers are from Funky Fairys Cherish collection.

X is for ... errmm ...

We have reached X on Linda's Alphabet Challenge Blog and I couldn't come up with anything British for my nature themed atcs, so I made an X and used a selection of my lovely little Tapestry Stamps instead!

Cute Christmas Card

This card is for 2 challenges - Papertake Weekly where there is a sketch to follow, and the Anything Goes Challenge on Craft Swap Forum, which this month is Christmas. I used a Pink Gem Designs stamp, but I had to add a mouth I am afraid! and coloured it in with Copics and Promarkers. The papers are DCWV.
