Wee Witches

The theme on Gothic Arches this week is Wee Witches, so I have used a photo of my own wee witch taken some years ago now - I hope she doesn't see this! I used some Halloween backing paper, black ric rak, halloween embellishments and my Dymo tape to do the words. Finally added some orange Primas with black Stickles in the centres, and edged with Black Soot Distress Ink.

Calendulas

I stamped a Linda Luckin Calendula image in Vintage Sepia Versafine, and inked the edges with Walnut Distress Ink. I matted the image onto some plain and patterned HOTP papers, and inked the edge of a cream cream card also with Walnut. I stamped a greeting and added 2 eyelets to finish. I then made an atc to match in the same way - it is not bigger than the card though!

The theme on Arty Girlz this week is Blue and Orange, so I have made a Christmas card with my cute little Penny Black snowman stamp and coloured his hat and scarf in orange, and used a blue card and orange and blue papers, finally punching some orange snowflakes and Stickling areas of the image!

Autumn ATCs

The theme for the montly rubber stamped atc swap I run on Craft Swap Forum is Autumn this month. So here are mine! I used Distress Inks for the background, a variety of tree and leaf stamps for the images, and edged with Copper Krylon pen and finished off with brads and words.

Christmas ATC

The Penny Black Saturday challenge this week is to make an atc. I used my PB Teddy Santa stamp and watercoloured him in and glitter glued his furry hat bits! Then I stamped snowflakes behind him, stamped a message and added glitter glue for snow at the bottom.

Encaustic Art

I am not sure Art is the right word for these! But I got hold of a small travel iron (without holes this time) and had another go at doing some encaustic art. I like the abstract feel of the first 2 so will probably leave them as they are, the second 2 I might cut up for atcs etc.!! It is good fun to do!

Haute Couture!

The theme on Gothic Arches this week is Haute Couture - not sure if mine is very Haute Couturey really but it was the best I could come up with!

Doodling

The challenge on My Time To Craft this week is Doodling. I stamped a Penny Black Christmas greeting, and doodled all round the edges of it by drawing some holly and berries and faux stitches. I painted in the holly leaves with Adirondack Lettuce Ink Pad and also painted some plain white card so I could mat it after I had matted it onto red. Finally I added some matching green ribbon along the bottom.

The Water Babies

The challenge on A True Friend is to do a LO about a TV character our pets remind us of. All I could think of was that our dogs love to go in the water when out, so I called mine The Water Babies!

Ready For Bed

I have done the weekly challenge on UKS this week - don't often get round to doing them but managed one today!

Sparkly Black Christmas Card!

I came across a challenge blog the other day where the challenge was Bling on the Bling - Our Creative Corner. I think I might be too late with this card, but I made a black sparkly Christmas card (sparkle doesn't show up too well on the scan). I just need to find someone who likes black to send it to at Christmas!!!

The theme on Make a Moo or Two this week is Dance. I have just made one this week, and again used my K & Co Hannah paper which I love! I printed off an Art-e-Zine image of a couple dancing, added a Tim Holtz word Doo Dad, some ric rak and a Prima with brad, and finally edged with my Gold Krylon pen.

The theme on Gothic Arches this week is Turquoise. I covered my arch in K & Co. Hannah paper, and stamped the background with a script stamp in Broken China Distress Ink. I added an image of a lady wearing a turquoise-ish dress, and stamped a word and embossed and edged it with Gold Krylon, as I did the edge of the arch too. Finally I added some ric rak and Prima flowers.

Autumn Arch

I made this Autumn Arch for the My Time To Craft challenge which is Trees and Leaves, and I am also entering it into the Gothic Arch challenge which this week is an Open Theme. I inked my arch background with various autumny Distress Inks, stamped a large tree and embossed it with some clear and a bit of gold sparkle powder, then stamped and water coloured leaves all round the edges to frame it. Finally I stamped a Penny Black word stamp and added that to finish.
