Flower ATCs

I have made 3 ATCs using Linda Luckin's flower stamps. I used Distress Inks for the backgrounds, stamped and masked the flowers then stamped a script stamp over them. I coloured in the flowers, and used Glossy Accents, Krylon Pens and an embossing pen round the edges, dragonfly brads and Primas to finish.

Lace It Up!

The challenge on House Mouse and Friends this week is Lace it Up. I have used lace and sticky paper and fine glitter to make a lace effect strip on the edge of my card - it doesn't really show up too well but it is lace-look! Then I stamped my image and watercoloured in the mice and coloured the dragonfly with Sakura glitter pens and added glitter glue to the wings. Finally I punched out some flowers to match the matting and added Stickles to the centres.

House Mouse Canvas

I made another House Mouse canvas for another friend's birthday, this time using Vintage Photo Distress Ink, and Copper Stickles and Copper Dabber, and stamping and colouring the image and message before adding it to the canvas, finally finishing off with some Primas and stamping round the sides.

No Cards Allowed!

The challenge on Penny Black Saturday is No Cards Allowed, so I have made a skinny. I used some K & Co paper to cover the mountboard skinny, and stamped my Penny Black Warbler onto cream card and clear embossed him. I inked the edges with Black Soot Distress Ink, and also round the edge of the skinny. I stamped a word in the same way, and added some brads, an eyelet and black fibres to finish off.

Changito The Monkey

The new challenge on My Time To Craft is Animal Antics (oops - this challenge has been delayed for a week). I used my Stampendous Changito the Monkey stamps, stamping Changito and some foliage, bananas and words! I watercoloured them in with Adirondack Ink Pads, matted it on to the card and stamped more little leaves all round the edge, colouring them in also.

The challenge on Cute Card Thursday this week is to use Bright Colours. I need a card for my great-nephew's birthday next week, so have used my Cuddly Buddly Robbie stamp, watercoloured in brightly! I have used some bright Papermania papers, a Cuddly Buddly greeting and a chipboard 5 that I inked.

New Baby Card

There is a new challenge blog, House Mouse and Friends, and their first challenge is to make something with the theme New. My niece is expecting her third baby any day now, so I have made a New Baby card using a Happy Hopper stamp, Love Bunny. I covered my card in lemon backing paper, stamped my image and watercoloured it in, and stamped a quote and message and matted them on too and added some flower/button embellishments to finish it.

No Patterned Paper!

The challenge on Arty Girlz this week is to use no patterned papers. So I inked up my card with Vintage Photo, Peeled Paint and Spiced Marmalade Distress Inks, splattered with some water and sprayed some Bronze Glimmer Mist on. Then I randomly stamped with some Graphicus Elusive Images stamps the background and also a main image, which I had also inked the background in the same way. I matted this onto my card and edge with a Gold Krylon pen.

Narcissus

Here is a 6 x 6 scrapbook page I made, using Linda Luckin's Narcissus stamp and a photo of our Narcissi in the garden this year. I used Brenda Pinnick papers, a rub on and some tapestry stamps for the background.

Bluebells and Calendula

Here are 2 skinnys I made with Linda Luckin's new flower stamps. I used Brenda Pinnick papers for the background, stamped the images on and coloured them in and used various small stamps and messages for the backgrounds and some Primas to finish off the Bluebells one. Finally I edged them both with Krylon pens.

Snowmen

The new theme on My Time To Craft is Christmas so I decided to make my card in a different colour scheme to the 'normal' Christmassy ones I do! I stamped my Penny Black Snowmen and water coloured them in, and matted them onto orange card, together with some patterned paper to match. I punched an orange snowflake, and added some brads and a message to finish off!

House Mouse Canvas

I made a House Mouse canvas for a friend's birthday recently. I inked up the canvas with Distress Inks and dabbers, stamped an image and some words and coloured them and attached to the canvas, and decorated with Primas and Stickles. I stamped mouse footprints round the edge of the canvas, not sure if it shows up very well in the photo.

More House Mouse!

Another birthday coming up, so I made another House Mouse card and atc to match - I haven't used them for a while and it has been lovely to get them out again!
