Black Velvet
The theme on A True Friend is to use a soundtrack, song etc. for our pet's life - so I have used one called Black Velvet (byAlannah Miles) as Poppy's coat is so smooth and velvety!
Flowers
This is the image I stamped for the card below first of all, but it was too dark for what I wanted and was going to discard it - then I thought - No, I will make it into a different card for the Arty Girlz challenge which is Nature this week! So I added some Stickles and matted it onto a lilac card with a greeting. It is a very simple card, but I like to do these sometimes as I think they are just as effective as the more 'busy' cards.

Friends
The challenge on Penny Black Saturday Challenge is Friendship, and the theme is Friends on Sunday Stampers , so I have used 2 Penny Black stamps to make my card. I stamped the flowers using chalk inks to get a soft impression, then stamped the saying, and matted them onto some patterned paper. I punched a couple of flowers to co-ordinate with the pp, and found a Friends fabric sticker which matched too!

Music in My House
The current them on Dans Ma Maison il y a is de la Musique. I covered my house in 7 Gypsies paper and rubbed over it with Vintage Photo Distress Ink. I printed off an image from Art-e-Zine, and added her together with a butterfly scrap, a charm, and Dymo words, Primas and rik rak!

Mouse
The challenge on My Time To Craft this week is Circles, and we on the Design Team were given some Jayne Nestorenko stamps to use. I covered my card in patterned paper with circles on, and added a strip of a different colour. I stamped the mouse image and watercoloured him in with my Marvy Le Plumes. I matted him onto the card and added a stamped message, and some Primas with Copper Stickles in the centres.

Black Bird
My Cake
Sorry, this is the last photo of me I will put on - I promise! But the challenge on Funky Fairy's this week is Glorious Food and I wanted to scrap this photo of my cake at my Queen's Guide Award party! I used more K & Co Blue Awning paper for this one too (others further down the blog!).
Black and White
The challenge on Sunday Stampers is Ebony and Ivory and I have nipped in at the last minute with this card. I used this bird stamp yesterday for another challenge and realised it would go nicely with the DCWV black and white flowery paper I had. So I stamped him in black and clear embossed him, then simply matted him onto some black card and onto a strip of the pp. I then punched some flowers and stamped a greeting.

Feelin' Hot Hot Hot!
The theme on Papertake Weekly is Feelin' Hot Hot Hot, using hot colours. I covered my card in orange paper, then stamped a bird image twice in Versacolours inks and clear embossed them, then matted it onto yellow and green, and did the same with the greeting. I punched out some flowers and made orange centres with a Gelly Glaze pen.

Award
My Snowman
There is a new Penny Black Saturday challenge blog and the first theme is to use the first Penny Black stamp we bought. Well I think this is my first one! I have certainly had him a while and used him the last few Christmases, and I love him! So here he is, stamped and coloured in and matted onto some snowflake paper with a simple message. I am in a simple card mood at the moment!
Hint of Pink
The theme on Arty Girlz this week is a Hint of Pink. I stamped a bird image and matted it onto some pink and then lemon paper. I added a piece of pink patterned paper to my card, stamped a message and matted that in the same way as the image. Quite a simple card.
Hearts
The theme on Small World of Inchies is Hearts this week, so I used a piece of K & Co Hannah paper, stamped a Fancy Pants heart and glazed it with Glossy Accents. Then I managed to stamp a word with hearts on it and added a tiny heart gem, finally eding the inchie with Cherry Pink Stazon that I had stamped the other things with.

Dans Ma Maison Il y a ...
This week the challenge on Dans Ma Maison Il y a is du soleil. I used Broken China, Mustard Seed and Shabby Shutters Distress Inks for my background and sun, and stamped a variety of images all over, adding some little embellishments too.
Very Proud
The weekly challenge on UKS is to use a photo of an achievement or something we are proud of, so I used one of me receiving my Queen's Guide Award - many years ago now!! We had also to use 4 of something, and some stitching (I stitched a button on the big flower). It was a good chance to use my lovely new K & Co Blue Awning papers!

Oh Poppy!
The challenge on A True Friend this time is Evidence (signs that our pet has been around!) so I photographed some of the damage Poppy has done to our home!!
Buttons and Buckles
The new challenge on My Time To Craft is Buttons and Buckles, so I made a birthday card for Louise. I stamped my Little Cotton Rabbit and watercoloured and stickled her! I matted her on the card, together with a greeting. I added some buttons and gems, some grosgrain ribbon with a buckle and a large number one, which is silver not blue as looks here!

More Birthdays
I have some more birthdays coming up and have made some bits and bobs all in a similar way, by inking with Peeled Paint and Spiced Marmalade Distress Ink, stamping a background stamp in Sepia Versafine, then stamping and embossing the flower image and matting it onto the card etc, and adding greetings, primas etc.

Birthday Pressies!
It was a friend's birthday yesterday so now she has opened her pressies I can blog them! The first is a 4" x 4" canvas that I used pink and blue Distress Inks and silver dabber, and added a House Mouse image that I had stamped onto card and watercoloured and Stickled. Then I stamped a House Mouse message and added that, and finally put House Mouse footprints round the edges!
The second pressie is a piece of mountboard, inked with Peeled Paint Distress Ink and Gold Glimmer Mist, then I stamped a Crafty Individuals bird stamp, cut it into 4, edged with Gold Krylon pen and added it to the mountboard, having stamped the background. I added dragonfly brads to finish.

Baby Me!!
The weekly challenge on UKS this week is to use baby photos of yourself, something pink, some stripes, something metal and something recycled, and as I started a book of myself as a baby a while ago I made this LO for it today. The 'something recycled' is the journalling block which was a piece of backing card from some stickers! I still have my Pinky teddy too!!
Birds
It was my turn to set the theme on My Time To Craft this week, and I chose birds.
I stamped my image and watercoloured it in. I matted it onto co-ordinating paper and added a strip of patterned paper down the side. I punched out some flowers and added Copper Stickles to the centres, and printed out a message on the PC, and finally inked round the edge of my card with Distress Ink.

Colourful Gothic Arch!
The theme on Arty Girlz this week is Paint, so I got my acrylics out and thought, what now! I stamped a Crafty Individuals image onto what started out as a card, and clear embossed it, then painted blue and green dabbers over with a paint brush and rubbed some off with a wet baby wipe. Then I thought, no, I don't want it as a card, so I cut it into an arch and started stamping, sticking things on, and adding Stickles too (click on it to see the sparkly bits)! It is a bit colourful, but I quite like it!

Wash Day
The current theme on A True Friend challenge blog is Bath Time, so I have made my LO using photos of Holly being washed a couple of summers ago! She loves playing with water but isn't so keen on being washed with it!!

Brads and Eyelets
I made this card for the My Time To Craft challenge theme of Brads and Eyelets. We were given a Bootiful stamp to use also. I stamped Maggie and water coloured her in, Stickling her heart and hairbands! Then I attached her with some eyelets to a mat, stamped a message, and used heart shaped brads to attach some Primas to the card to finish it off.
