Here is my Love themed tag for Helen's Sunday Stampers challenge. I used Fired Brick distress ink on the tag, spritzed with water, stamped and embossed my image, then sprayed with Bronze Glimmer Mist and edged my tag with gold Krylon.
Here is my LO for Those Little Things We Overlook challenge on UKS. The theme was coffee mugs but I drink tea so mine has tea in!! There is a mistake in the journalling but I am hoping nobody will notice it - well not too much anyway!
I liked my other LO so much that I made of Louise that I wanted to make another so it would be a DLO in my album - again this was for the Elsie Flannigan 52 Week Challenges. So I again used a ribbon border for one of the challenges, and made my own chipboard flower for the other one!
This is a card for the Arty Girlz Challenge which was to make something with an Animal theme! I love this cow stamp and love it with yellow and black - wasn't sure about the black flower but I think it worked well!
This LO is for 2 challenges from a book I am working through and as I am behind I did the two on one page! One challenge was to make a ribbon border, and the other is to cut a chipboard shape and decorate it. I cut the large flower with my Big Shot and painted it with acrylic paints, used a Marvy Le Plume pen for the stitched effect, and finished it off with a Prima flower and brad.
Early I know, but I made a Christmas card today! There is a challenge on UKS called Rudolph Day and the idea is to make some Christmas cards on the 25th of every month so as to have some ready in good time! Here is my Tilda one.
As I like to do DLO's for my albums, I have made another page to go with the one I made of Louise a few days ago. This time I have used the colour photos that I took on the day, and used embellishments in colours to match.
I have done this LO for a scrapbooking challenge - we had to print out a colour photo in black and white and make it the focal point of the page. I used this one of Louise I took when she was 6 weeks old. I think it has all come out a little dark, as when I took the photo of the finished page the flash glared right on the photo so I took the flash off! Not really very technical so wasn't sure what else to do!!
The Fat Book challenge on CSF this time is Flowers, one of my favourite subjects, so this is my page. I used Aged Mahogany and Peeled Paint Distress Inks, and the main flower is one of the Artistic Stamper flowers.
I have joined in with a new challenge on UKS, which is to create a journal throughout the year. I have decided on a Craft Journal, techniques and materials. Here is my A page.
One of my New Year's Resolutions is again to do more scrapbooking and I am hoping to join in with more challenges on UKScrappers this year. I have bought a book, Elsie Flannigans 52 Challenges, and hope to be able to complete one a week! This is the first one, where we chose a quote and cut it up to use on a LO.
I am married with 3 grown up children ,4 grandchildren and 2 dogs! I have always done crafting of some sort, originally knitting, cross stitching and tapestry, then I began paper crafting some years ago and haven't looked back!
I like to take photos of my garden for scrapbooking and the one on here is a sunflower that the birds kindly planted for me!
P.S. - Now I have gone back to doing a lot of knitting, crocheting and sewing too!
