The new challenge on My Time To Craft is called Easy Elegance. I inked a blank card with Tea Dye Distress Ink and stamped a Crafty Individuals Flourish stamp using Adirondack Butterscotch ink around the edges. I then stamped a beautiful lady stamp by LB Crafts with the Butterscotch, and used the Tea Dye to edge the piece of card and rub over around the lady. I finished the card with some ribbon and pearly flower embellishments.
I made several Christmas folded thingys for friends and now they have all been received I can pop them on here! I tried to match the colour theme to what I hope they like!
Here is my attempt at Day 7 of Tim's 12 Tags of Christmas. I had to use an upside M for the W in snow as I has already used the one in the set of letters!
The theme on My Time To Craft is Contemporary Christmas and I have made a lilac card with a curly Christmas tree stamp that I hope fits the bill! It is an Anita's stamp and I don't know the make of papers, and I printed the greeting on the pc.
I missed out day 4 for now and have made my take on day 5, although I am still waiting for my grungeboard to arrive so have had to improvise with other things! Link to Tim's blog on the right hand side somewhere!
I am panicking now as time is getting short for finishing my Christmas cards, so have gone into production line mode and I am making several at once! I used my House Mouse Ho! Ho! Ho! stamp for these (another lot are under way too!)
I don't usually blog my photos, but when I got up this morning there was a beautiful orange glow outside and I opened the front door and took this pic!

The challenge this week on Gothic Arches is Celebrate. I am not sure what these ladies are doing but it looks like they could be celebrating so I hope it is OK for the challenge!
I had to have a go with my new Cuttlebug embossing folder, Lace Tree. I think it is lovely and elegant looking - hopefully my Auntie will like this card!
The challenge on Penny Black Saturday is Funky Christmas - so I made my card in lilacs and pinks. I stamped my favourite snowman stamp, Skating Snowy and watercoloured and glitter glued him, then matted him onto some lilac paper and some Cuttblebug embossed snowflake card, and added a message and some QK snowflakes to finish.
The new challenge is a sketch to follow, or use pink and blue, or combine the two on Funky Fairys new forum here! I made a LO using FF Blue Christmas and Funky Meets Shabby Chic papers and a photo of Louise sleeping on her first Christmas Day when we were waiting to open her pressies!
A friend kindly sent me these Forever Friends images - I think they may have been for Georgia to use but I nabbed them!! I made a couple of quick Christmas cards with them!
I don't usually do this, but I have made a card for 2 challenges as time is short!! House Mouse & Friends have the theme I'ts Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas, and Papertake Weekly have Let it Snow. I used my Gruffy stamp of the bear in the snow on his sled and got a bit carried away with my snowflakes round the edges!
The current challenge on Make a Moo or Two is Pets - I hadn't made one for a while so felt like having a go! I used a free download image from Art-e-Zine, K & Co papers, Distress Inks and embellishments.
The challenge on Cute Card Thursday is to use Red and Green. I stamped my Elzybells cute image and watercoloured her in and matted her onto patterned paper. I punches some snowflakes and stamped a message and added glitter glue to finish!

The new Funky Fairy Challenge is now up on the new forum - there is either a sketch to follow or a Christmas theme using buttons and ribbons. I followed the sketch and did a LO of my dribbly granddaughter, using Hope and Pink papers from the Funky Fairys downloads.
The current Penny Black Saturday challenge is Monochrome. I decided to go with Black and White, and stamped my PB sentiment stamp which I am using a lot this year! and matted it onto black card, then some snowflake embossed card and DCWV black and white papers. I diecut a holly sprig out of paper I had black glitter embossed and used black Stickles for the berries!
I am married with 3 grown up children ,4 grandchildren and 2 dogs! I have always done crafting of some sort, originally knitting, cross stitching and tapestry, then I began paper crafting some years ago and haven't looked back!
I like to take photos of my garden for scrapbooking and the one on here is a sunflower that the birds kindly planted for me!
P.S. - Now I have gone back to doing a lot of knitting, crocheting and sewing too!
