I made this atc today for a forum friend's birthday. I used Vintage Photo Distress Ink, and Butterscotch Adirondack Ink and stamped a Penny Black butterfly which I embossed with some Enchanted Gold. I stamped behind the image with a script stamp and added Happy Birthday!
It is one of my great-nephew's First Birthday in a few days - yes I am that old!! I didn't want to do inky and messy this time so I used a little stamp I bought ages ago but never had a need for - until now! I think it works just right!!
I saw these colours on my scrappy paper that I use under my inking area and thought they would like nice as a fat book page - so I used the Pine Needles as the sky, the Stazon Ultramarine for the trees and some pinkish glitter glue on the snow - might not show up too well though! A silver dabber is added here and there too.
I have had a change today and not got so messy with this card! This is my first Magnolia Tilda stamp - I hope to get some more! I stamped the image and watercoloured it in, then used some patterned papers for the background, and punched some flowers in the same papers to embellish.
I am married with 3 grown up children ,4 grandchildren and 2 dogs! I have always done crafting of some sort, originally knitting, cross stitching and tapestry, then I began paper crafting some years ago and haven't looked back!
I like to take photos of my garden for scrapbooking and the one on here is a sunflower that the birds kindly planted for me!
P.S. - Now I have gone back to doing a lot of knitting, crocheting and sewing too!
