Ready-Steady-STAMP Challenge 22

For the RSS Challenge 22, we had to use green, black and white, fabric, sequins, fashion theme and use a punch to make an embellishment different from what it was meant to be!  I found some little images in green for my fat book page, used K & Co Hannah BP, and stamped Crafty Individuals flourish stamp over it.  For the fabric element, I used some Aida fabric and punched 2 different sized flowers with my Tim Holtz die, and inked them with Distress Inks.  I punched some maple leaves with a Martha Stewart corner punch and made them into flowers.

Magical Crafts Fortnightly Challenge - Something for Males

It is time for the next challenge on Magical Crafts Fortnightly Challenge blog, and this time the theme is Something for a Male/Father's Day.  This challenge is sponsored by Stitchy Bear Stamps and a prize of some digital stamps and papers for the lucky winner!

For my DT card I used this lovely blue check paper from Stitchy Bear, and stamped a vintage car image which I coloured with Copics then triple embossed with clear embossing powder to get a lovely shiny image.  I cut the Dad letters with my QK Lemonade Cookie Cutter dies, and the swirl is cut on my Cricut.

Blog Party Throughout June!!

To celebrate it's 6 month anniversary, Which Crafts? is having a blog party throughout June, with competitions, challenges and swaps.
The current challenge is All One Colour Challenge -  to create something all in one colour with different shades of that colour.  I made a three fold card for my DT example, using blue pps and stamping various stamps in blue.

So pop on over to the blog and join in the fun and be in with a chance of winning some prizes!!

Very Green!

This card, which is very green! is made using stamps from the Celebrate Today set by My Cute Stamp, available from Emily at Make The Day Special.   I wanted to use my white Stazon, so stamped some of the flourishy stamp over the green background, and stamped 3 of the seed head stamp and coloured them in with Copics.

G is for Green

This week we are up to G on the Alphabet Challenge Blog, and I chose G for Green (it's my favourite colour!).  I used a Sugar Nellie stamp, Maggie, for my DT work, colouring her in with Copics and adding her to a green background, doodling round the edges.  I finished with a Card Candy greeting and spots (not sure what they are called!), flowers and Liquid Pearl blobs!

I have put a DT call on the blog this week as we are looking for a couple of new members, so please pop over and take a look!

Xtra Special

The new challenge on My Time To Craft this week is Xtra Special - to make something for a special person or special occasion.  For my DT work, I made a wedding card for a friend who married recently using my Popcorn bear wedding stamp.  I coloured the image with Distress Inks and Copics, and used my Martha Stewart punch for the lacy edging, and my Leone Em punch for the fern leaves to go with the roses.

I am also entering this card for the Tuesday Taggers challenge, All That Blooms.

Celebrate Today

My card today is another mini card (4" x 4") - I do love this size!  I used stamps from the fab Celebrate Today set of stamps, by My Cute Stamp, available from Emily at Make The Day Special.
I inked the background with Bundled Sage DI and stamped one of the swirly images all over, then I stamped one of the flowers onto pink pp several times and cut them out, doing the same with the sentiment.  I doodled round the words and the edges of the mat to match the style of the flowers and added adhesive gems in the flower centres and corner.

Wild Thing

The challenge on My Time To Craft this week is Wild Thing - anything that lives or grows in the wild.  I made a CAS card (clean and simple!) for my DT work this week.  I used a black card, and the paper is actually the inside of an envelope!  I stamped my lion image and just doodled round the edge and added some black jewels and finally I used a Kanban greeting diecut.

H{ippity} Hop Monday!

This is my first time joining in with the H{ippity} Hop Monday Blog Hop as I now have some gorgeous {ippity} stamps!  I decided to make a tag using stamps from the gorgeous Fall For You kit, available here.  I stamped the cute little bird cage then masked it off and inked the tag with Bundled Sage DI.  The birds are coloured with Copics, and I added punched flowers, sticky paper lace and adhesive pearls to finish.

Metal Madness

The new challenge on Magical Crafts Fortnightly Challenge is called Metal Madness.  Any type of metal can be used for this, charms, brads, metallic papers, or even real metal items!  For my DT work I decided to make a Thrinchie, colouring it with DI's and stamping with a Crafty Individuals (I think, it is upstairs and I am downstairs!) stamp.  My metal is the word bar at the top and the heart shaped brads in the centres of the Primas.  I edged it with Copper Krylon pen to finish.

Why not pop over to the blog and have a go - the prize this time is a $10 spend in Simon Says Stamp store!

Unity Friends with Flair Blog Hop

My card today is for the Unity FWF Blog Hop and also my DT entry for the Alphabet Challenge Blog, which this week is E for Eyelets.  I used DCWV BP for my card, and stamped a sentiment from the lovely Unity kit for May, Moments in Bloom, available from Emily at Make The Day Special.   I kept it quite simple and just added some blooms, brads and eyelets and finally some ribbon to finish the card.

RSS Challenge 21

Goodness, Challenge 21 on Ready- Steady- STAMP!  I have done every one so far!  For this challenge we were asked to use red, white and yellow, a car, journalling, UTEE and a paperclip.  I covered my fat book page with some 7 Gypsies BP and inked it with Mustard Seed DI.  I stamped a vintage car image and coloured it with Copics, and stamped 2 sentiments from the same set.  I UTEE'd the car, it doesn't show on the photo but it is lovely and glossy!  I used 2 small paper clips, a luggage charm and brads to finish.
