Journal52 - Sillhouettes

Our prompt for week 4 on Journal52 is Silhouettes, and I am pleased to say I am keeping up so far! My page this time is all Distress Inks, no sprays this time.  I always seem to think of this stamp when Silhouettes are mentioned, although I think I might need to invest in a new black ink pad fairly soon as it looks a bit pale!

12 Tags of 2015 - January

I've decided to have another go at Tim's 12 Tags of 2015.  Last year I managed 6 so hopefully I will get round to making them all this year!  My January one is my version of what Tim made using what I have already got in my stash - and the best bit was the paint splattering at the end!  I do enjoy doing this immensely and did it in the bathroom but did have to clean the sink afterwards as it too was splattered!

Calendar Challenge - January

The Craft Barn's new challenge for 2015 is a Calendar Challenge, and each month we will be given a colour and a word that we have to incorporate.  This month we have Aqua and Snowflakes.

Anyone who followed me on last year's challenge will know I like to use beer mats and yes I have decided to use them again this year to make a small pocket book calendar!  At the end I will bind it with my Bind It All.  I have decided to make a perpetual calendar so have typed out all the months and dates to cut up and use and I found an ideal Crafty Individuals stamp in my collection to use for the first challenge.

Journal52 - Conversation Starter

The prompt on Journal52 this week is Conversation Starter.  I was stumped for a while as to how to go about this one, but then remembered a conversation with my mum last week about her plans for the garden this summer so that seemed a good one to go with!

Gruffies & Guests Ch#13 - Anything Goes with the Option of Buttons and/or Bows

I posted the halfway reminder today for Gruffies & Guests Anything Goes with the Option of Buttons and/or Bows Challenge.  As usual there is a fab prize to be won so pop on over and take part.  For my DT work I made quick ATC which could be used as a topper for a card also.

Journal52 - Just Be

The second prompt on the J52 challenge is Just Be.  I have finished my page with time to spare for a change, I doubt I will be able to keep this up though!  I used a mixture of sprays, inks and stamps for the background and found that my Posca white pen still works even though I haven't used it for a while so that is a plus!

Journal52 - Pathways

While blog hopping the other day I came across a challenge that I would like to take part in this year - if I can keep up with it!  It is a weekly journalling challenge called Journal52 and the prompt for week 1 is Pathways.  I have made my journal page using inks, sprays and stamps from my collection.
