Journal52 - Top 10 Lists
Here is my J52 page for the theme Top 10 Lists from a couple of weeks ago. Although I do make lists they are fairly boring and not really suitable for journalling so I decided to make a list of the top ten things I like to craft - not necessarily in favourite order although the first 4 are! I used some K & Co tag thingies from my scrapping stash and a nice background stamp of lined notepaper to make this page. I had stamped butterflies and then spotted a couple of scrap butterflies that I hadn't put away from the last time I used my scraps so on they went!

Journal52 - Collage Crazy!
Two pages in a week, I am doing well! The 16th challenge on Journal52 is Collage Crazy! I used to enjoy doing collage a few years ago so got my box of bits and bobs out and made my page using just papers and images, no stamping this time.

It was my turn to choose the theme on Ruby's Rainbow Challenges this time, and I decided on one of my favourites, Vintage. I made this DT card recycling an image from an old birthday card which was too pretty to throw away!

The Cupboard Trilogy Ch#4 - Things With Wings
Goodness we are up to our 4th challenge already now on The Cupboard Trilogy challenge blog, and for this month the theme is Things With Wings. I decided to make my DT LO using photos I have taken in the garden of butterflies and insects. I used some pretty K & Co bp which didn't need a great deal adding to it really so just popped a few bits here and there!

Flying High
The Cupboard Trilogy currently have a challenge running entitled 'The Wind Beneath My Wings' and we have to take inspiration from the words of the Bette Middler song for our work. My hubby went up in a glider a couple of years ago and I thought that would be an ideal theme for this challenge as he certainly had the wind beneath his wings! The photos were a little difficult to scrap as they don't have much colour in them and I take my inspiration for my LOs from the colours in my photos so I did my best with this one! I wasn't going to put flowers on but my Liquid Applique smudged so I had to resort to covering it up!

For my DT work I made a little card using some lovely K & Co bps and a cute little owl stamp by Kars - both pressies I received for Christmas. The recipient doesn't like pink and girly, so hopefully she liked this card!

RRC Challenge #5 - Embossing + Ecru
Here we are already on the 5th fortnightly challenge from Ruby's Rainbow Challenges, and this time the theme is Embossing and Ecru. I had a good look through my stash to see what I could find for my DT work - I embossed some DCWV bp with a Cuttlebug embossing folder, and used a Hero Arts butterfly stamp coloured with Promarkers, and matted onto some K & Co bp. The butterflies are punched with a Martha Stewart punch and the leaves with a Leone Em one.

Y for Yellow
We are up to Y this week on the Alphabet Challenge Blog and the theme is Y for Yellow as the main colour. For my DT card I used some old K & Co papers and stamped Maggie and Flowers by Sugar Nellie. She is coloured in with Copics and Promarkers, and all edges distressed. I coloured the flowers and yellow Card Candy blobs with a Promarker to co-ordinate, I love being able to do this, so much easier than try to match things up!
