The challenge on Funky Fairy's this week is Going Dotty. I needed to make a birthday card for a friend whose birthday is coming up and I am hoping she will like this one! I used some K & Co. (I think!) spotty paper, edged a piece in Black Soot Distress Ink, stamped a Penny Black image that I know she likes, and a Happy Birthday, matted them onto black card, and punched out some black flowers and secured with cream brads.
I love this card. It is so striking. I wish I could remember the "less is more" phrase when I make some of my cards - it would definitely help!
