Well I am up to F now in my Journal and for this I had great fun (Not) playing with Friendly Plastic!! Nearly passed out from the fumes when I heated it and ruined the first piece I tried! I am not that happy with the results of the second piece but it will have to do!! You may have to click on it should you want to read what I have written!

ReplyDeleteI've decided to use FP to make my sister's birthday card. I must be mad. It's tricky stuff xxx
Your f page is fab Lesley :o)
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of your journal, a great reference and a wonderful way of exploring things.
ReplyDeleteRe the Friendly Plastic - don't heat it so long. There should be no fumes at all. Heat it only until it is just soft (depending on the heat gun, 30 seconds is all it takes). If you do this on a piece of tin foil then you can pick it up and bend it to check if it is soft enough. Alternatively try heating it in hot water 60 - 70 deg C and it will never get too hot. I am an FP fanatic and use it to create all sorts of things from small items of jewellery to boxes, bags, masks and costumes. www.lizwelch.me.uk If you want any help just shout.
