The challenge on My Time To Craft this week is Mum's the Word. For my DT card I have again used an image from a Jayne Netley Mayhew CD (been getting my money's worth out of this lately!) and printed off some backing paper for it from the same CD.
The theme for Sparkles Forum Challenge blog this fortnight is Springtime. There is a fab prize of a 3 digi images of choice from Didges Doodles, so pop on over and have a go! For my DT card I used some very old bp which I believe was one of the first packs of 12 x 12 papers I bought from QVC all those years ago! I love this Hero Arts stamp and use it a lot. I coloured white Card Candy blobs with Promarkers to get them the colour I needed - quite pleased with that, I am sure it has been done loads but I only just thought of it!
We are nearing the end of the alphabet for the third time on the Alphabet Challenge Blog, and this week the theme is U for Up In The Air. Time has been a bit short this week, so I made a quick and easy but hopefully pretty card, using a Penny Black Stickeroo, these are a godsend when I am in a hurry! The sentiment is by Daisy and Dandelion, I use these a lot lately.
The new theme on My Time To Craft is Ladies Day. For my DT work I wanted to have a go at a technique I have seen a lot lately of distressing all the edges of the papers and mats so found my Tim Holtz distressing tool and went for it - great fun! I used an Elzybells image coloured with Promarkers and Copics (I use an assortment of both) and Daisy and Dandelion papers, and a Card Candy greeting and blobby things!
The new challenge for this fortnight on Craft Your Days Away is For Mum or a Special Lady. I made a Mother's Day card for my DT work, using an image and bp printed from a Jayne Netley Mayhew CD. There is a prize of a £10 voucher spend in Shelley's One Stop Card Crafts, so pop over to the blog and enter!
The new challenge on the Alphabet Challenge Blog is T for Trees. For my DT work I made a card using my lovely Kanban tree stamp, stamped in brown Versafine and clear embossed and then with jewels added to match the bp (can't remember the make, it's from my paper mountain!) The greeting is by Daisy and Dandelion, and I punched the border with a Martha Stewart border punch.
The new theme on My Time To Craft this week is Keys. For my DT work I made a New Home card with a little key charm, and stamped a House Mouse reaching up to it! The bps are by Daisy and Dandelion. I punched Martha Stewart butterflies to embellish.
The new theme on My Time To Craft is Jewels. For my DT work I decided to make quite a simple card. I used some Crafty Individuals bp and stamped a butterfly twice, coloured with Promarkers and added jewels to embellish. I stamped a Daisy and Dandelion greeting (I like these and am using them a lot lately!). I originally stamped it straight onto the card but smudged it at the end so had to stamp again and cut out and stick it over! Bit annoying as I preferred it the first way but I wasn't going to make the whole card again!!
We are up to R on the Alphabet Challenge and the theme is Ribbons. For my DT work I made a quick and easy card using a Daisy and Dandelion sticker and bp and stamped greeting, and Card Candy and a ribbon to embellish.

The challenge is to useRed and Greenon your Christmas work, and for my DT card I used one of my favourite Christmas stamps, a Penny Black hedgie, coloured in with Copics, DCWV bp and snowflakes punched with a Martha Stewart punch. The sentiment is by Daisy and Dandelion.

The new challenge on My Time To Craft this week is Infants. For my DT work I made an atc using K & Co. bps and a HOTP image (continuing in my efforts to use very old stash!) and embellishing with sticky paper lace, Primas and a Tim Holtz doodad.
I am married with 3 grown up children ,4 grandchildren and 2 dogs! I have always done crafting of some sort, originally knitting, cross stitching and tapestry, then I began paper crafting some years ago and haven't looked back!
I like to take photos of my garden for scrapbooking and the one on here is a sunflower that the birds kindly planted for me!
P.S. - Now I have gone back to doing a lot of knitting, crocheting and sewing too!
