I picked the theme on My Time To Craft this week, Black, White and One Other Colour! I chose blue as my 'other colour' and used DCWV black and white paper on my card, stamped a dragonfly in blue and clear embossed him and added some glitter glue, a message and blue brad, and some blobs of Liquid Pearls - also in blue!
The new challenge on Funky Fairys Challenge Blog is Winged Things. I made my card using a Happy Hopper stamp, and Funky Fairys Paisley Love and Just so Distressing Vol 4 papers (link to FF Papercrafts in my sidebar). Go over to the challenge blog and have a go for a chance of winning a free download FF paper kit!
The theme on My Time To Craft this week is Metallica. I made my card using a metallic blue card, and embossed a strip of silver mirri with my Cuttlebug folder to put along the edge. I then stamped and embossed a flower stamp in silver, and matted it onto silver mirri and used a metallic blue dragonfly brad to finish. I made a couple of extra cards while I had the stamp out!
The April challenge for Florries Monthly ATC challenge on Craft Swap Forum is We are Three, to celebrate the forum's 3rd birthday. However, I decided to think outside the box a little bit and used my House Mouse Sitting in the Rain stamp for this one, leaving off one little mouse as there are actually 4 on the stamp!
The Funky Fairys Challenge this week is to use a recipe - 1 image, 2 papers and 3 embellishments. Here is my LO of Louise using FF Feeling Fruity and Feeling Sweet papers (link to FF Papercrafts in side bar). This LO is for a challenge on UKScrappers. We had to feature 'Edges', so I used a Bazzill Just the Edge strip, doodled stitches round edges and used my scallop blade to edge the matted photo of our lovely Holly! I also punched lots of little flowers to use to decorate too. I used my Slice to cut the title.
I made one of these in Green and Gold (a few posts down) and decided to do a similar one in Blue and Silver for my friend Lydia's birthday. I hope she liked it!! I used Funky Fairys Papercrafts Dots are Distressing and Cherish papers for this - link in my side bar.
We are up to C on Linda's Alphabet Challenge Blog- and here is my atc for this week for the Nature ATC Book I am making, using Pine Needles Distress Ink and some stamps of cones and pine needles and the masking technique to stamp my cones.
Funky Fairys Challengethis week is called Dare to be Square. I have used the lovely FF Cherish 2 papers for my card (link to FF Papercrafts in my sidebar), and stamped my Crafty Individuals butterflies on the 4 squares with Adirondack Lettuce, edging them all with chalk inks and finishing with stamping round the edges and Liquid Pearl blobs! Pop over to the blog and be in with a chance of winning a fab FF download kit this week.
I thought I would blog this DLO I have just completed for my Garden Album, I don't blog all of them but these flowers are so bright and gorgeous in my garden at the moment I thought I would blog these! I used my Slice for the flower embellishments.
I felt like making a simple card today, and wanted to enter the fab competition at Charmed Cards and Craft to win a set of Copics which ends in a few days, so used my lovely new foam Poppy stamp and watercoloured it in with a Marvy Le Plume and Adirondack Lettuce ink pad, which I stamped the flower with first. I matted it onto a tall card, Funky Fairys Feeling Fruity green paper being a perfect match for the Lettuce ink (link on right side bar to FF) and added some black Stickles for the centres of the poppies and some gems and a brad to finish.
Week 2 of the Alphabet Challenge Blog and here is my B atc for my book I am making for this challenge. I used Funky Fairys In With the Old paper for my background and a variety of stamps and embossing, including my fab Penny Black Butterfly stamp.
The theme on Small World of Inchies and Twinchies this week is Yellow. I had some card I had already splattered with Mustard Seed Distress Ink so I cut an inch square off and made my inchie! The bird is an Inkadinkadoo stamp.
The challenge on Funky Fairys Challenge blog this week is to use the colour Green on your work. Here is my triple card made using Dots are Distressing, In With the Old and Cherish paper kits.
